About this listing
This apartment is in the heart of Williamburg Brooklyn. There are bars, numerous restaurants, grocery, laundry just around the corner. A super comfy bed. A 2 level, spacious apartment. Very clean! Ideal for a couple but can sleep up to 4.
Our modern and spacious apartment will keep you safe, comfortable, and happy while you visit Brooklyn and NYC. Whether you're visiting from out of town or looking for a place to house your relatives, our space is perfect and accommodating. It sleeps up to 4 people comfortably.
We are close to the L-train (Lorimer/Metropolitan station) and a few blocks to the J/M trains. It's a very fast and easy commute to and from Manhattan. We are a short walk to the heart of Williamsburg with it's endless possibilities for music, fun, and food. It's by far the hippest neighborhood in town. Be sure to check out the map!
We take deep pride in our living spaces. Points of importance for us are cleanliness, a comfortable bed (ours you literally will want to fall into after a long, hard day shopping/playing/eating), and convenience. Check out our points of note on our map. There are literally hundreds of places to dine and shop in our neighborhood. If you are looking for something in particular, let us know. We would be happy to help.
Please note, our second bed is an inflatable queen size mattress. It stands as high as a normal bed. It's comfy!
We love our space and hope you will too.
Guests have their own streat access to the apartment. There is an Italian restaraunt just next door that is perfect for late arrivals and you just want to drop your things and grab a drink and a great meal.
Interaction with Guests
We live just above the apartment that you would be staying. If there is anything you need, day or night, we are just a couple of feet away. We leave you to your stay, but are very available if there is something you need. We love to meet everyone that stays in our place. It's so much fun getting to know others from all over the world!
The Neighborhood is well known as the "hippest" neighborhood in the city. You will find amazing food, the best bar scene, and an incredible music scene. That being said, it's also a slower pace than the city and much more laid back. You can go to a movie theatre, go bowling, go have a fabulous dinner, meet friends for drinks, walk down on the water front, do some amazing shopping, and see lot's of music.
Williamsburg itself is fairly small. So getting around the neighborhood is very easy by foot. But if you'd like to go to other parts of the city you can take the L train into Union Square area, or take the M train down through the East and West Villiage, up through Union Square and up to Times Square. You can catch any other train from either of these trains.
Please be aware we require a $200 security deposit. It will be fully refunded following checkout and review. There is an additional cleaning fee of $100. If you need parking, we have a space in a locked and gated lot for an additional $25/night. We need to know in advance if you'd like to utilize the parking option. We can not accommodate a last minute request.
We stayed at the apartment nine nights. We were 3 ppl, and for 4 nights another friend joined . Heater organized an extra bed for that matter. It was comfy! Heater and her family were on a vacation while we were there. Never the less, she was available and very helpful during all our stay even in the middle of the night! The apartment is really lovely and nit, very comfortable, aesthetic and well equipped. There were even coffee, tea and chocolates when we arrived. We would defiantly love to stay there again.
Heather and Ed were super responsive and helpful during my stay. Their place is an absolute gem -- beautiful, clean and well situated within Brooklyn. In addition, I was searching for an apt during my stay and Heather took the time out to show me another spot up for rent in her neighborhood -- I really appreciated that. You can tell they're good people, and I'd definitely stay with them again. Thanks to them both!
Heather and Ed were great hosts, extremely friendly and accommodating. Their place was perfect- very spacious, conveniently located, all the amenities including comfortable bed and good air conditioning both upstairs and downstairs. Would definitely stay here again !
Everything was wonderful! Heather was very responsive and kind. I would recommend staying here! Great location too.
Our stay was great. Heather was very helpful and would check in with us to make sure our stay was going smoothly. The room downstairs would get a little hot but it's a den type so you can't do much about that. Would stay here again, the place was nicely put together and the hosts were great.
I am really sorry about the warm bedroom. Under normal circumstances, the bedroom stays very cool, as it's below ground & is normally at a 58 degree temperature. But it's been so unusually warm. Thanks so much for the feedback. I just purchased a portable AC unit and am installing it today! I wished I would've known sooner. I would have done it last week while you were at the apartment.
Thanks again for taking such great care of our place!
Heather was lovely host. She made sure we settled in well, and was responsive to our questions. She also went the extra mile and checked up on us regularly to make sure we were doing okay.
She also had recommendations of restaurants near by which was pretty handy.
overall, she was an amazing host and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed.
The apartment itself is comfortable. Comfortable couch, and the beds were just simply amazing!!!
Shower was good too, everything was clean.
lovely space area.
However, the bedroom can get a bit stuffy at night but heather also has provided fans to overcome this.
The apartment is a short walk about 5-7mins to the M line and a few minutes more to the L And G Line.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this place!
The apartment is pleasant to stay even if a bit noisy.
It has a good location as there are many nice restaurants and bars to explore at least than 15 minutes walk and the center of Williamsburg is at about 20 minutes walk.
The communication with Ed and Heather went smooth and we knew they were here in case we needed.
