The Space

Our modern and spacious apartment will keep you safe, comfortable, and happy while you visit Brooklyn and NYC. Whether you're visiting from out of town or looking for a place to house your relatives, our space is perfect and accommodating. It sleeps up to 4 people comfortably.

We are close to the L-train (Lorimer/Metropolitan station) and a few blocks to the J/M trains. It's a very fast and easy commute to and from Manhattan. We are a short walk to the heart of Williamsburg with it's endless possibilities for music, fun, and food. It's by far the hippest neighborhood in town. Be sure to check out the map!

We take deep pride in our living spaces. Points of importance for us are cleanliness, a comfortable bed (ours you literally will want to fall into after a long, hard day shopping/playing/eating), and convenience. Check out our points of note on our map. There are literally hundreds of places to dine and shop in our neighborhood. If you are looking for something in particular, let us know. We would be happy to help.

We also have a secure parking space available at an additional cost.
Please note, our second bed is an inflatable queen size mattress. It stands as high as a normal bed. It's comfy! All our bedding is 800 thread count.

We love our space and hope you will too.

  • This apartment is lovely and spacious and was perfect for me and my boyfriend. We stayed here for a week in March and it was an ideal base for exploring Brooklyn and Manhattan. The living area was well appointed and spacious, we enjoyed the couches and television (although not all channels were available) but we barely used the kitchen because we ate out all the time! The bedroom area is very spacious, but be aware that it is in the basement so there is almost no natural light, which was sometimes disappointing. Having said that the bed was very comfortable, there was lots of room for all of our suitcases and clothing. The bathroom is well appointed and the shower is nice.

It can be quite noisy at times; a combination of street noise and noise from the neighboring apartments. It generally didn't interrupt our sleep so that was ok, and New York generally is very noisy, but if you are sensitive to noise, be mindful of this point.

In terms of location it was a little further away from the subway and the main Brooklyn attractions than we would have liked, but still relatively convenient. It was approx a 10-15 min walk to the closest subway stop and about a 20 minute walk to Bedford Ave in Brooklyn. But in warm weather walking is a nice way to explore the city. I think given the price of this apartment per night and how comfortable it is, it represents excellent value. Ed and Heather have done a lovely job of decorating and making it feel welcoming and homely.

Overall I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment!

  • What an amazing start to NYC. We stayed in Ed and Heather's beautiful apartment for 2 nights and couldn't have asked for better hosts. Heather was so accomodating with our travel plans and really did make us feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved their apartment which was within walking distance to lots of cool spots in Williamsburg. The apartment was very spacious with a cool basement bedroom. I also really liked the folder full of cool recommendations for coffee, food, alcohol which was well used.
If you are looking for somewhere in Williamsburg to give you a taste of Brooklyn, I would highly recommend this apartment.

  • The apartment is just like the pictures, so no surprises there. What struck me was, they’re very organized. For instance, there’s a binder with a lot of take-out menus, maps to local restaurants & bars, clear instructions for the wifi, tv, trash issues and the like. In our unique situation, my daughter had the bedroom downstairs, and I was sleeping upstairs. I figured I’d just crash on the sofa, but there’s a large, high-end air mattress available, probably the best I’ve ever slept on. There are plenty of extra sheets, blankets, towels, toilet paper, kitchen stuff that makes it easy. Location-wise, it’s ideally located between the L, G and the JMZ so you can easily get around. Overall very good experience, I’d do it again.

  • Although we were out with friends for the majority of our visit, this apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed when there. The bedroom is comfortable and quiet, bathroom great too. Nearby parking was a plus, the hosts were friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider this apartment next time we are in the area! Thanks Ed and Heather! Jim and Diane

  • Awesome place! Heather was very accommodating and even let me in late at night when I locked myself out. Is a great, great place to stay in Brooklyn.

  • Ed and Heather were lovely and easy to deal with. They made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable (especially with our one year old!). Their place is nice and spacious and travelling around from there was easy. There were a few minor glitches during our stay but they were resolved as soon as we drew them to Ed and Heathers attention.

  • My boyfriend and I stayed two nights and we were blown away with the space. The apartment is big - the great room with kitchen, desk, and living room setup is on the first floor and the bathroom, bed and dressing area is downstairs. My boyfriend kept saying it was the NYC apartment he always dreamed of living in. The furnishings are tasteful and minimalist, everything is spotlessly clean, and Ed was delightful to meet. He guided us through the apartment after accommodating our late arrival. When we had difficulty unlocking the door even later that night, they were responsive and guided us through handling the peculiarities of the lock. They kindly offered to search the apartment for my boyfriend's lost set of keys after we left. The apartment is located in an up and coming section of Williamsburg and we were able to walk to most of the restaurants on our list that weekend. All in all, we were so pleased with our stay in the apartment near Lorimer and we are grateful to Ed and Heather for their patience and hospitality!

  • Our stay at Ed and Heather's place was fantastic. Very comfy bed, close to everything with the L train only being a short walk. The place was lovely and warm when we arrived and Heather and Ed were quick to answer any questions we had - very lovely people. We will definitely stay again!

  • My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here - we felt so comfortable and cozy and the place is beautiful. Lots of movies to choose from and just a close cab ride away from all the bars and restaurants (though the restaurant right next to the apartment is awesome, too). We will definitely come back and stay here for our next trip to Brooklyn!

  • We stayed in the apartment for 4 nights and couldn't be happier. The place was clean, safe, and easily connected to the subway into Manhattan. There was ample supplies of towels and bedding and the kitchen was well equipped. We didn't spend much time in the apartment as we were sight-seeing a lot, but when we returned it was great to know we had a comfortable bed to sleep in! The WiFi worked faultlessly, and there was an excellent restaurant on the corner. Next time we travel to New York i'll definitely book this place again!
