West Crudwell is a Cotswold country farmhouse situated in the midst of our 100 acre farm, together with cottages which are normally let on a long term basis. There are beautiful gardens, hard tennis court and heated outdoor swimming pool. Ample parking and stabling if required. We provide a full English breakfast and dinner is available with prior notice. We are on the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire border between Malmesbury, Tetbury and Cirencester - there is lots to do whatever your interests.
We have the following accommodation available:
Double with en-suite shower room and dressing area
Double with private bathroom and separate loo
Twin room and single room with shared bathroom
Breakfast is generally served in our country style kitchen and sometimes in the dining room depending on how many people are staying.
Guests do have use of a small private sitting room at one end of the house with fireplace and TV. There is access to an outdoor heated pool (summer only) and all-weather tennis court but this is during restricted times to be discussed with owner.
We are fairly relaxed and can generally be accommodating of all arrival times etc. We ask that you let us know what time you'd like breakfast the night before, latest is generally 09:30 There is no smoking in the house.
Really warm and easy-going welcome from the whole family, accompanied by delicious tea and cake! Zandra was informative and hospitable throughout our stay. The house is beautiful and the room we stayed in had lovely views over the garden and surrounding countryside, especially when the sun shone. Crudwell is all you could want from a quaint Cotswold village - do make sure to ask Zandra to book you a table at the local gastro pub, The Potting Shed, which is also full of charm (and has a very extensive gin menu!) Full cholestrol breakfast went down a treat with us, but there were lots of other lighter options as well.
Zandra and Chris were lovely hosts and they made us feel extremely welcome. Their house is stunning, and there were lots of interesting things to do in the area like visit Tetbury, wander in Westonbirt Arboretum, and visit some local gastropubs. Twiglet (their dog) was also extremely sweet. Thanks for the great weekend!
This was a very pleasurable, relaxed experience, to stay with Zandra and Chris. I was made most welcome in their lovely home, and thank them very much for that. Barry
Reasonably priced and very comfortable stay. Excellent breakfast and hosts highly accommodating, thank you!
My very short stay at Zandra's was lovely. I was made very welcome, the room and bathroom very comfortable. I was offered tea or coffee on arrival despite Zandra expecting friends for a dinner party at any moment. In the morning there was a good choice of food and lovely home made jam.
My only criticism is that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. I suspect they would have made me as much as I wanted but I sleep very badly and would have liked to have been able to have a cup of tea when up in the early hours.
Otherwise, the house, the scenery everything was delightful.
A fairytale getaway! On short notice, Zandra and Chris welcomed us to their beautiful, 18th-century farmhouse in an idyllic Cotswold village. Conveniently located near the market towns of Cirencester and Malmesbury, pastoral Crudwell feels much more authentic than many of the other more touristic towns in the area. The sprawling house also whisked us back to another era, but with plenty of modern comforts, and best of all, the hospitality of our hosts (and their adorable dog, Twiglet). Upon Zandra's recommendation, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at The Potting Shed, followed by stargazing in the gorgeous gardens. Our slumber was splendid, our breakfast fabulously full-English, and overall, our stay was superb. If you're looking for a romantic, quintessential Cotswold experience, this is as good as it gets.
It was lovely, we really enjoyed ourselves and great hospitality. Was fantastic to be amongst the wonderful surroundings in the country side.

You'll usually find me running about the countryside trying to fit in as much as possible. I like to welcome people for B&B to enjoy the house I've called home for over 30 years and that has been in the family for many more years as well. We do feel that we live in a very special private location and we have so enjoyed sharing it with our guests over many years.
