I didn't really meet Tim, but I did get everything I needed! The house was clean and tidy. The lady who shared the room with me was very nice. Utilities were in good condition. In a nutshell it's worth the price.

The room is definitely dorm style. The room seemed to never have been swept and wasn't very clean. I was told it was a private room which in simple terms it is private. Door has not lock and is just living room turned into a bedroom with drapes covering the sliding door. The one nice things about this is how easy it is to get into the home.

Our brief stay at Tim's place was the WORST Airb&b experience we have ever had. Shame on us for not realizing this place was a hostel, there was no mention of the fact in the description. I did not feel safe from the moment we arrived. It is located in a scary part of town, we literally passed a "hoodmart" on the way there. I did not feel good about leaving my car on the street as there was no private parking. The pictures in the listing were apparently taken several years ago when the house was kept up. We couldn't even see the "wrap around porch" due to the large bushes that have been neglected. Upon walking inside, there were several men in the kitchen area. They were kind but also loud. When we found our room and tried to lock the door, we were unsuccessful. We were planning to go to dinner after we dropped our stuff off but we had to take our stuff with us seeing as it was not secure. I sent Tim a message regarding the door, and he didnt respond until an hour later when I sent him another message stating that I was very disappointed in the place and that I didnt feel safe. The backyard was a joke. There was not adequate lighting when we tried to take our dog outside to go to the bathroom. We were only there for 30 min max, I was literally in tears. I could not stay there any longer. Luckily we found a decent dog friendly hotel 30 min away. Tim did refund us half of the listing fee. Which was way too much to charge for a hostel to begin with.

Tim was very friendly and accommodating during my stay! Had good recommendations on what to see in the city. The accommodations and location were a bargain for the price, would highly recommend staying at one of his locations!

I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own b&b. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for over 15 years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about AirBNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have properties close to downtown Atlanta in historic Capital View neighborhood and in Historic Adair Park neighborhood and close to Airport. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I have male and female dorms. I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food. I like almost anything as far as food goes and red and white white alike as well as a good beer. I really don't have any major rules just be a polite guest as I will be a great host and even show you around if you need me to. I also love the outdoors and know some great places to hike in Atlanta. I also love to cook, drink wine or beers and eat good food and have a Nice large kitchen for you to make yourself at home in as well as each house has a great private backyard and fire pit and large front porches, I live on Tift Ave has 4 outdoor cats and a small dog Alvin you will love. My other properties do not have any animals unless a guest happens to have one.
