About this listing
Enjoy our comfortable, cozy guest room in the Mueller development, convenient to the airport, Dell Children's, UT, downtown and all the music festivals. Make yourself at home!
Welcome to Austin! Situated among hike and bike trails, eateries and lakes, Mueller is a great base from which to explore the city. We're 4 miles from downtown, with easy access by car, bus or bike.
We offer a guest bedroom with private bathroom immediately outside the bedroom door. The bedroom has an antique brass bed and a mid-century low steel cabinet that functions as a night stand. We have reading lamps on either side of the bed along with a leather arm chair and floor lamp. The bed is a full-sized bed, also known as a double, which is smaller than a queen.
Coffee and tea is available in the morning. Closet space is available in guest bedroom. The bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and miscellaneous essentials. A hair dryer, iron, ironing board, washer and dryer are also available to you.
For nearby dining, we recommend visiting Contigo, which is within walking distance. Another option is to have drinks at the Salty Sow followed by dinner at East Side Cafe (both within walking distance on Manor Road).
We're within walking distance of Cherrywood Coffee House [38th street], Thunderbird Coffee [Manor Road] and Elixir Coffee [a 1950's Studebaker Truck converted to a coffee stand] at the Mueller food court.
We are bicycle, runner and triathlete friendly. We are happy to provide running maps, swimming information, and road and off road cycling routes.
