Enjoy our comfortable, cozy guest room in the Mueller development, convenient to the airport, Dell Children's, UT, downtown and all the music festivals. Make yourself at home!
Welcome to Austin! Situated among hike and bike trails, eateries and lakes, Mueller is a great base from which to explore the city. We're 4 miles from downtown, with easy access by car, bus or bike.
We offer a guest bedroom with private bathroom immediately outside the bedroom door. The bedroom has an antique brass bed and a mid-century low steel cabinet that functions as a night stand. We have reading lamps on either side of the bed along with a leather arm chair and floor lamp. The bed is a full-sized bed, also known as a double, which is smaller than a queen.
Coffee and tea is available in the morning. Closet space is available in guest bedroom. The bathroom is stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and miscellaneous essentials. A hair dryer, iron, ironing board, washer and dryer are also available to you.
For nearby dining, we recommend visiting Contigo, which is within walking distance. Another option is to have drinks at the Salty Sow followed by dinner at East Side Cafe (both within walking distance on Manor Road).
We're within walking distance of Cherrywood Coffee House [38th street], Thunderbird Coffee [Manor Road] and Elixir Coffee [a 1950's Studebaker Truck converted to a coffee stand] at the Mueller food court.
We are bicycle, runner and triathlete friendly. We are happy to provide running maps, swimming information, and road and off road cycling routes.

Mark and Elizabeth were awesome. Super friendly and knowledgable, they were a great asset for someone trying to get their bearings in Austin on such a tight schedule. Everything was spotlessly clean and their coffee is amazing. Highly recommended!
My friend and I stayed with Elizabeth and Mark for one night while we were in Austin for a wedding. They were great host! The space is comfy and right off the main entrance. The location was convenient and right off the highway, so getting to their house and around in Austin was perfect. The best part about the stay were the friendly hosts! We had such a nice time chatting with Mark when we got in and with Elizabeth in the morning before we headed out. Getting to know them in that short amount of time made the stay that much better! Thanks again!
We stayed with Elizabeth and Mark during ACL weekend and had a wonderful experience. The room was just right for the both of us, and both the room and private bathroom were extremely clean and nice. Both hosts were very hospitable and shared many ideas on things to do around their quaint neighborhood, which had great running trails and places to eat and drink within walking distance. Elizabeth also had baked goodies every morning which were such tasty treats! We would definitely stay with them again in the future.
Mark and Elizabeth were super welcoming. They game us some great tips for our up coming trip. Mark suggested we rent some bikes and it was great to ride to the 6th avenue.
The room was clean and it was nice to have our private bathroom.
We would defenetly go back.
A friend and I stayed at Elizabeth's for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We got in late the first night and had freshly made cookies waiting for us. She equipped us with snacks, fresh muffins, and coffee daily which was amazing. She also gave lots of great advice and made us feel completely at home. I really enjoyed my stay and I would definitely stay with her again!
Beautiful clean room with the bathroom right outside the door. Located in a quiet suburb -the place is cute and well decorated. Coffee and delicious snacks available in the morning. I would love to stay here again.

We enjoy hosting people and sharing our city. We've had guests from as far away as the Ukraine and Kazakhstan and love introducing people to all that Austin has to offer - from local cuisine, art and Texas history to music, hiking and the University of Texas.
