Environmentally friendly host works at Northampton's Visitor Center, spends free time traveling, putting together videos (& watching huge library collection of videos w/ popcorn); learning to sew, taking in Arts Night Out on the 2nd Friday of each month.
This is a people friendly, non-smoking house. Guests of our guests are welcome until 10pm, when we ask that only airbnb guests hang in the private bedroom, use the shared bathroom, & make themselves at home in the kitchen over night.
Happy to make beds each morning or not, depending on guest preferences.
Alicia was accommodating in every way and was a wonderful host. The bed was quite comfortable, the setting was peaceful, and we had a very restful experience. Highest ratings!
I stayed for two nights while attending a conference in Northampton. Alicia was welcoming and friendly beyond what you'd expect from the average person, and her home was clean and bright in a quiet out-of-the-way setting. I would stay here again anytime. Thank you :)
Alicia's house is less than 10 minutes from Northampton in a quiet neighborhood. Her home is very clean and comfortable, and she and her partner Dave were welcoming and easy-going. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom included space to work in. I enjoyed my visit and would certainly stay there again.
Alicia and Dave were great! Clean and wonderful room. Would definitely consider staying again if we make another trip out.
Alicia was very accommodating to my comings and goings, and always left a light on for me no matter when I came home. She had an amazing array of information about the surrounding area, and was a great welcome/tour guide for the area. The place was very clean and well kept, and was a nice and comforting environment. I would highly recommend her and her place for a nice stay!
Alicia is a sweet and generous spirit and the perfect host: open, friendly, communicative and accommodating. Her home and guest room is clean and cozy, just as advertised. If you are traveling to the Northampton area and looking for a welcoming, rewarding and down-to-earth experience, this is an ideal place. On the Airbnb thumbs-up scale from 1 to 10, Alicia’s home is a definite 11!
I love art, theater, video making and watching, traveling. When I turned 50, I realized I wanted to pack as much fun into the next few years as possible. And something magical happened with that decision: I found a really great traveling buddy. Dave's environmentally minded and loves to hike. He brought us across New Zealand last year on the Te Araroa. We're back and dealing with massive snowfall. Looking forward to the big thaw and hosting Airbnb folks again!
