  • I stayed for two nights while attending a conference in Northampton. Alicia was welcoming and friendly beyond what you'd expect from the average person, and her home was clean and bright in a quiet out-of-the-way setting. I would stay here again anytime. Thank you :)

  • Alicia's house is less than 10 minutes from Northampton in a quiet neighborhood. Her home is very clean and comfortable, and she and her partner Dave were welcoming and easy-going. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom included space to work in. I enjoyed my visit and would certainly stay there again.

  • Alicia was very accommodating to my comings and goings, and always left a light on for me no matter when I came home. She had an amazing array of information about the surrounding area, and was a great welcome/tour guide for the area. The place was very clean and well kept, and was a nice and comforting environment. I would highly recommend her and her place for a nice stay!

    Awwww! Thanks!

  • Alicia's home was in a perfect location for me, a quiet neighborhood with easy access. Alicia is very thoughtful and knowledgable about the local area and events. She was a great resource for me. I will be staying there again!

  • We spent one night there. It's a convenient location to downtown Northampton and Williamsburg; and about 35min to Cummington.
The room and bathroom are very clean, with meticulous sheets and towels. WIFI is also provided, I detected the signal but didn't use it. Alicia also served us breakfast next morning, with freshly made oatmeal w banana/nuts, plus fresh coffee made from Peet's coffee. She is a wonderfully thoughtful host, communicated very well before our arrival and patiently answered our questions. We had a good conversation at the breakfast table. She is into environmental issues and documentary making. Unfortunately we need to leave in a hurry to catch a music event.
Overall, we enjoyed the stay very much, esp as a first time Airbnb user.
    Highly recommend it.

  • Alicia is a very generous and accommodating host! We look forward to visiting her again. Her lovely house is very comfortable and well-located for access to Northampton. The bedroom is larger than it looks in the photo. There was plenty of room for me to lay out my yoga mat and practice in the morning.

  • Staying at Alicia's was an excellent choice!

    Let's start with the amenities:

Alicia had everything set up for us in our room with plenty of extra pillows & blankets if needed. There were two chests of drawers, a closet & a desk for us to unpack our suitcases. She had towels for us in her clean bathroom (that really has awesome natural lighting). Her home is lovely & she was so kind and generous to let us use the kitchen and hang out in her awesome yard. Her home is in a great place: surrounded by beautiful scenic views but also super close Downtown Northampton.

    Now let's get to Alicia:

Alicia is super friendly & fun to talk with. My husband and I are new to the area and she was so incredibly helpful in helping us find our way around, places to eat & even pointed us in the direction of rental agencies so we could find our new home. She had resources waiting for us when we got there like maps and town guides. We felt so at home at Alicia's and she really went out of her way to make us feel that way.

I definitely recommend anyone coming to Western Massachusetts to stay with this lovely lady!

About
I love art, theater, video making and watching, traveling...and sewin(website hidden) art. When I turned 50, I realized I wanted to pack as much fun into the next few years as possible. And something magical happened with that decision: I found a really great traveling buddy. Dave's environmentally minded and loves to hike. So now that Mt. Tom's been conquered, and we've done NYC, Boston, and survived Sandy, the Frankenstorm, and the blizzard of February'13, we're planning a trip to New Zealand.
