The Space

Red Tree Lofts - Ivy Room

Newly renovated loft space in a very exciting part of town called NuLu.
With your personal entry code, enter through the sidewalk door down a colorfully lit hallway to the massive spiral staircase taking you up 3 flights to the loft. The second floor has shared kitchen, dining room and living room with a half bath.
The third floor has a private bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom.
Red Tree Lofts is the first urban home to host guests in the Heart of NuLu within a few minutes walk of Downtown Louisville.
Just outside the door are restaurants ranging from Americana, South American, Farm to Table, to French cuisine. Wonder through art galleries and unique shops then go for a taste of different Kentucky Bourbons at "Taste Fine Wines and Spirits".
Louisville's Trolley will take you to many of the major business and entertainment areas and attractions downtown.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • My boyfriend and I loved staying at the Red Tree Lofts. The space was beautiful, and we got lucky and had the entire place to ourselves, as the other units were not rented at the time. Great location in Nulu neighbohood, and easy walk to downtown. Father Sanchez was very friendly and easily accessible.

  • The house was so gorgeous, historical bldg. in a romantic setting. I took a ton of gorgeous pics of the building! Fr David was very nice. location was perfect too with restaurants, farmers market beer and wine tastings and bars nearby/across the street.

  • Fun space, location and host! We were greeted by Father David, who shared with us information about the neighborhood and offered up some spot-on recommendations. After showing us the common areas and our room, which were both eclectic and well-furnished, we took him up on his suggestion for dinner at Seviche about a 5-min drive away. Great food, and our host even met us there after mass.

We really felt at home and appreciated Father David's flexibility in our check out time the next day. We were able to ride bikes for a bit and then clean up with feeling hurried. Would definitely visit Red Tree Lofts again in the future.

  • This place was totally unique and located in middle of great bars, restaurants, etc. We took our bikes (very bike friendly town) and got to almost everywhere we went on bikes. The host was helpful, friendly and just a phone call a way. Thank you so much Fr. Sanchez for your knowledge, hospitality and conversation! We were here on the weekend and stayed in the back, Ivy room. No issues at all with noise. Plan to come again when in town!

  • We stayed here over the weekend for the Derby Marathon. It was an absolutely perfect location. We were able to run to the start line. It was the first time for a race I haven't had to wait in line for porta-potties!

The loft is right across from a row of restaurants. We went to Harvest and had a delicious meal.

The loft it self is in such a neat old building with tons of character. We had a great night sleep and truly enjoyed our stay even if it was just a night! We would certainly stay here again the next time we came to Louisville.

  • I had the best stay at the Red Tree Lofts! The house is comfortable, clean, and gorgeously furnished. Such a unique space! The neighborhood is quiet and filled with small boutiques and delicious restaurants. I always felt safe and there was always something to do or some adventure to be (website hidden). David is a wonderful host; he made sure I was settled in, gave me a tour of the house and highlighted the fun places to visit or eat in the neighborhood, and was always available if I needed anything. I plan to stay here on my next visit to Louisville.

  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Red Tree Lofts. David was the kindest host giving us tips about the neighborhood, fun places to eat and drink...many of which we took him up on and he was right about all! Have already highly recommended Red Tree to friends back home in Nashville and plan on staying there again when we come to Louisville!

  • We spent a weekend in the Ivy Room. There were no other guests so the common area was available to us exclusively which made for a wonderful stay. Make sure to get Father's parking tip and use Clay St. to walk to the north end of the River walk. The refrigerator was a little overstocked and not much room for guest's items. Father David was very accommodating and full of information. We wish we could of made the Friday night fish fry and took advantage of the extended check-out time. Overall a very nice weekend.
