Welcome to BCN!
If you are looking to stay somewhere very central and pay less than a youth hostel, having your own apartment, this is your place.
This 35 sqm apartment has everything u need for a very comfortable stay. The living room/bedroom has a comfortable queen size doble bed and a doble sofa. Linen and towels are provided. It has a kitchen with a stove, a microwave and an oven, equipped with everything needed to cook and eat and a big refrigerator to keep your food fresh. It also has a washing machine and dryer, perfect for cleaning all your clothes before going to the next destination if you are Europe hopping or traveling around Spain.
The just renewed bathroom is small and has a shower, all very basic but clean and tidy.
Fast Speed WI-FI internet 20Mb included with no extra charge.
The place is perfect for those who are planing to make the best of the city being central and walking everywhere. You can walk in 5 min to plaza Universitat (where the Aerobus leaves you) or Las Ramblas. and in only 10 min you are in Plaza de Catalunya. The closest metro station in Sant Antoni, which is literaly round the corner, 2 minutes away.
I may not recomend this place for those who are planning to be at home most part of the day, since the apartment is interior and even though it has two windows (one in the bathroom and one by the kitchen) it doesn't have any natural light. That's the main reason why the price is so cheap. The air is fresh though and there is a hot/cold AC that keeps the air fresh and the temperature ideal. If the lack of natural light it's a problem for you, then chek on my lisitngs and get yourself a place with more light.
The area is great with lots of bars and small restaurants. In 3 minutes walk you'll get to Rambla del Raval where there's plenty of fun and cozy places where to have a meal or a drink. The food market with all the fresh fruits and vegetables is 50 m away from the apartment.
I hope you really enjoy your stay in both the appartment and the city, with all it has to offer!
DIRECTIONS TO THE APARTMENT:
coming from/to the airport is really easy.
AIRPORT PICK UP:
Get a lift from the airport directly to the apartment for only 20€ (25€ after 8pm). I provide this service with my private car or with a friend of mine when I don't have the time. It's the easiest and fastest way to get to the apartment and when you are 2 oe 3 people it's almost the same price than taking the aerobus and the metro. Ask for availability!!
The cheapest way is to take the bus (blue modern buses with AEROBUS written at the sides, costs 5,90€) that you will find in both T1 or T2 at the airport. That bus leaves you in Plaza Universitat (just ask the driver or check on the screen to know where to jump off the bus) and from there you only have to walk 8 min to the apartment. From the square, walk down the big street named "Ronda Sant Antoni" all the way down, passing by the big tents where they installed the food market temporaily and to the old market, currenty under renovation. From there take the street at your left and that's Sant Antoni Abat, only 50 m and you'll find number 53. Travel time from the airport to the apartment should be around 45min or 1 h depending how long you have to wait for the bus.
If you are several people, you might considering the possibility of taking a cab. That would drive you straight to the apartment in about 20 min and should cost beetween 35 and 40€.
NOTE: check in time 15:00, check out 12:00. Check ins after 20:00 will be charged 20€ extra.

Albert was very helpful and kind. Was waiting for me at the airport and quickly got me settled into the apartment. Really easy and convenient.
Overall the apartment was small - but everything you need for a short stay. Only disappointment was the lack of windows and natural light. Otherwise, the place was nicely situated and great!
Would recommend to a friend.
Good place for a short term stay
I had a great stay in the apartment! The ride offer to and from the airport was very convenient. Extremly helpful explaining the area and metros to me. Albert and Malin also had left a guide book to some local restaurants, and bars that were fabulous. If i ever make my way back to Barcelona, i would definitely stay here again.
Albert, Marlin and Albert's mother, Carmen, are lovely, wonderful person with warm attentions and have been very helpful. They had been all time mindful of us, helping us in all that we needed. Are very openminded and very easy to communicate.
Carmen picked us from the airport and dropped off at the front door where a man was waiting for us to get inside the appartment and explain us everything. Carmen is very nice. I totally recommend this service.
The appartment which is an authentic site with a tunnel is in a prefect location in Barcelona, you have very close the underground, and very cozy places, restaurants, pubs...
I recommend this appartment.
Thanks for all the help you gave to us, was very appreciated.
Best wishes :)
I stayed in the apartment for a few nights on my own, it was perfect.. Has everything you need, comfy bed, good kitchen, right in the middle of everything and only 100 metres to the sant Antonio metro station, I can recommend this airbnb
Honest price for a good place. The washing machine also dries your clothes and there was a Lambrusco waiting to "welcome" me!
My only concern would be if I was taller, like 1,85m or more because the bathroom is really tight. Once I am only 1,80m, everything was good =)
Well. What can I say. Albert & Malins place was just perfect for my needs.
Not too central so that it was noisy, but not too far away that it was out of town.
Its true this place had no window, but I actually found that I got deeper sleep because of the lack of light & noise at night. The Wi-Fi was incredibly quick.
The apartment met all of my needs and more. I was collected and dropped off at the airport for a fee equal to what I would pay publicly. The neighbourhood was real and I was not concerned for my safety.
I would recommend Albert & Malin and I would say at any of their places listed here again in a heartbeat.
Very central place, close to La Rambla and very close to metro, less than 100m, great communication! Host was very helpful. All what you need inside. No daylight, but it helps you to sleep better ) And it's not a problem, if you are using the appartment only for sleeping and cooking, most time you are outside. Highly recommended!
Good location, close to the metro, wifi, kitchen, you can do laundry
one problem- no window. (they mentioned it).
We met Albert at the apartment quite late and he was more than helpful in checking us in and answering any of our queries. The apartment is in a central location near the metro system and many cool bars and restaurants. It is quite cosy but had everything needed for a comfy stay. We had a great time exploring Barcelona from here and would recommend this place!
