We stayed 2 nights at Leanne’s place, and it was perfect.
The room is really comfy, clean and big enough for the three of us.
Leanne and Colin were really helpful and gave us a list of bar/restaurants near their place, bus lines that go from and to the flat, and everything we needed to make our stay easier.
The neighborhood is really nice, with a lot of bars and place to eat. We had wonderful breakfasts at some of the addresses Leanne gave us.
It’s really easy to go everywhere in London from there as you have several us lines, and the subway.
I’ll recommend this place to my friends ;)
Leanne and Colin are the sweetest hosts we ever had. They are so nice and helpful that it's a total pleasure to live with them. The flat itself is very clean and stylish, and the location is fantastic. It's really a wonderful experience. Thank you so much Leanne and Colin, please keep in touch!
Me, my mother and sister stayed for three nights in Leanne and Colin´s lovely place and really enjoyed it! Colin and Leanne are a very friendly couple and everything worked out just as expected. Communication in advance was just perfect. The apartment is small, but cosy and very clean. Islington is a nice, safe area with great connection to public transport and a lot of good restaurants just around the corner. We highly recommend the Indian Take Away just across the street! :)
Thanks for this great weekend, we´ll highly recommend to stay at Leanne & Colin´s Home!
Leanne and Colin are perfect hosts. The "meeting process" worked perfectly and we (papa and his 2 daughters on a shopping/cultural trip) had a perfect stay in this very nice area of London. The room fitted us perfectly. The plus of this place are: excellent bus connections to London highlights, very clean place, a sense of feeling at home, plesant and nice hosts, excellent information on how to get there, what to do in London. The area is also really packed with plenty of nice restaurants. No hesitation to highly recommend this place. Leanne and Colin are exemplary representatives of the Airbnb spirit!
Leanne is very kind and nice. She gave us advices for London and about the places where we could eat.
The house is big enough to have a comfortable stay in London. It is clean and tidy, and you can use the kitchen. 15min walking from the tube, 3min walking from the bus stop.
Super clean, organized and convenient. So helpful but also good at leaving you alone.
Leanne and Colin were delightful hosts. Even before I arrived I had a very positive impression of them; I had to change my plans several times, which affected my likely arrival time. But nothing seemed to faze Leanne. I finally arrived at midnight, having been assured that this would not be a problem.
The apartment isn't that big but the guest bedroom itself is excellent: sufficiently spacious, very bright and airy. It was an extra-warm July night but I had no problem sleeping. It's a sofa-bed but a very comfortable one.
Everything you need for a light breakfast is provided: nothing is stinted.
Although the apartment is only 100 yards from Essex Road, it's in a quiet street that doesn't seem to be a thoroughfare. Buses along Essex Road, to connect with Angel tube station (in five minutes) and the centre of London, are as frequent as Leanne says they are; about every 30 seconds.
All in all, a very satisfactory stay. I expect to go back; and I would recommend Leanne and Colin, and their apartment, without hesitation.
