Kste and André are wonderful hosts! Always available when I needed them but never "in my face," they provided all essentials for making meals (olive oil, vinegars, pepper, etc). a selection of coffee and tea, and butter, milk, eggs, and juice for breakfast - as well as FRESH croissant and baguette each morning! There are plenty of dishes, a great selection of glasses, plenty of pots and pans and a remarkable selection of cooking utensils. The bathroom is well-supplied and quite spacious - and great water pressure with plenty of hot water in shower. The selection of board games is remarkable, TV and wifi are great. Tables and chairs and lounge for enjoying sunny days by the pool - and a lovely garden! I will definitely be returning! SPECIAL NOTE FOR MY FELLOW AMERICANS: If you are looking for a REAL French country experience, this is it! On a quiet, rural lane, with sheep grazing down the hill and rolling hillside views of nearby villages. Kate (who speaks both French and English and works part-time at the local tourist office) is a wealth of information and will provide you with advice on lovely backroad shortcuts and up-to-date market- day information. Highly recommended!!!

This is truly a lovely cottage in a lovely rural setting. Kate was an excellent host, the house was well furnished and had everything we needed (including hair dryer and dish washer ...). It was lovely to build a fire in the fireplace and have fresh bread for breakfast and homemade jam ! My son (12 years) loved the animals (donkey, horse, cats, dog) and the ping pong table. It was too cool to swim, but the pool looks very inviting, and we would love to plan a trip back in the summer. Kate recommended nice places to eat nearby, and sites to visit. A very nice experience all around.

We had a lovely peaceful stay, Kate had provided everything you could possibly need and the homemade framboise jam was exquisite.

Lovely country house, with an extremely well equipped kitchen. Good wifi and TV. Helpful friendly hosts. Pool and garden a bonus, and situated in one of the quietest but, but most beautiful regions of France.

We had such a perfect stay at Kate's gorgeous place. It has everything we needed for a relaxing few days - fantastic location, stunning pool, well equipped kitchen and welcoming hosts. Kate was really friendly and knowledgeable about the area - after a more energetic first half to the week, we were happy to just relax by the pool and enjoy the scenery, but she advised us of a lovely walk through the local woodland for us to take our dog. All local amenities took less than 10 mins to access, and Kate had kindly left beer and other supplies in the fridge ready for our arrival. There was also the provision of ping pong, which we played for as long as our eyes could see in the darkness! I couldn't fault anything, and as our first booking through Airbnb, I am eager to get our next trip booked. I can't recommend Kate's hospitality and gorgeous home highly enough. Thank you for helping us relax and enjoy the Dordogne.

The house is exactly as described. It's a very quiet and relaxing place. The pool and its surroundings are great. Kate and André are really friendly, if you need them they're there but otherwise they respect your privacy. They gave us a lot of good advices about things to do and places where to eat. I would definitely recommend this place!
