We have spent five days at Yumiki's apartment and it was great! The apartment is small but has everything you can wish for in it and very clean. The best and most important thing about the apartment is the location-best location in Tokyo! Despite the closeness to a very busy street, it is very quite apartment and building.
Yumiko was very nice and helpful, always available to answer our questions. I strongly recommend!
Second time staying at Yumiko's place - again, it was perfect. The location is superb and the apartment has everything you'd need, including the fluffiest quilt around! I'll be back without a doubt.
Yumiko's place is super convenient. Its really close to a JR line and its very comfortable. Its close to a lot of places as well. It was also fun meeting Yumiko! Would definitely comeback here!
Yumiko can only be described as a wonderful host who has prepared everything you could possibly need during a stay in Tokyo. She has been very helpful even before and after my stay.
The apartment itself is very conveniently-located, a short walk from Harajuku Station, and packed with plenty of amenities you would never think would fit in a small yet comfortable apartment.
Note to those bringing luggage, the room is located on the third floor and there is no elevator. Regardless, I would happily stay here again whenever I'm visiting Tokyo.
Yumiko is a very nice host and she has prepared everything (yes i mean it) in the apartment, from basic amenities to travel guides. Her recommendations on places to eat was really good.
The apartment is a bit small but is located in the heart of harajuku, 1 minute walk to Marion crepes in Takeshita Dori Street. It is very clean.
Notes that for those with luggage, this apartment is located in the third floor with no elevator.
Overall, i have a very great experience and will definitely stay here again.
It was such a pleasure to stay at Yumiko´s apartment.
- it was very central, in the middle of harajuku. That´s why it was so convienent to reach the next subway station or go to shinjuku and shibuya by feet.
- it was very clean. The bedroom was nice and clean. Two person have enough space to sleep there. The bathroom was also clean. Yumiko provides us with towels, shampoo and shower gel.
- we had wifi - everywhere! We got a portable wifi from Yumiko.
Thank you for let us staying in your apartment.
On our next trip to tokyo, we may hope to stay at your wonderful apartment again!
Arigatou Gozaimasu! ^____^
Staying at Yumiko's apartment was very convenient for my trip to Harajuku. It is right off of Takeshita Street, where there are many shops and cafes. Very close to the Harajuku train station. My husband and I had some heavy luggage, and the Harajuku station (also apartment building) has no elevator, so it was a bit difficult getting in/out, but overall OK. I would recommend taking an alternate route to the apartment (she provides it) if you have luggage because Takeshita Street gets SO busy during the day.
Pocket wifi was absolutely wonderful and made it very easy for us to use our tablets to navigate to restaurants, etc.
The room is quite small, but it forced us to be more organized with our stuff, which was good. I would recommend only 1 or 2 people staying here because it gets a little cramped.
Everything was very clean and well organized. The important things (appliances, switches, instructions, etc) were labeled in English with good directions.
There is no dryer, so be ready to air dry any laundry you do here.
Yumiko responded quickly with any questions I had, which was appreciated. The email she sent us before we arrived in Japan had so much great information regarding how to get to the apartment from Narita, etc. I really appreciated that because I had never been to Japan before.

I try to keep my room clean though it's sometimes not so.
I don't much travel lately, but many people visit my place from over the world, so it's fun as if I am traveling without leaving Japan.
My respected explorer is Yoshiharu Sekino. He was a doctor and explorer in that time when I knew him on TV. Since 1993, he started his journey from Africa where is said human was born and followed the human path. What I was impressed was he continued the journey only by human power. Sometimes he used vehicles but those vehicles run by human power, such as boats and road bikes. When I saw his great journey, my curiosity for abroad grew up.
