About us: We both were born in Transylvania and we love Dublin! We want for each of our guest to experience Dublin as a local so we will provide you with tips for everything you need - great places where to eat, what to see, even hidden spots which are not in every tourist guide, great tips for various activities and so on. Anna has recently moved in, she works in a Café and myself as an office employee.
Our wish is to make you feel like home.
Basically you won’t need transport to get to the main sights from the place at all! But in case you’d need it, that’s very easy – bus stops are 5 minutes away, as well as the tram stop.
There are several shops and great restaurants 3 minutes from the doorstep. Famous shopping street Grafton is 2 minute walk and Dawson St. and William Street South, famous for party time are 3-5 minutes walk!!
Arriving by plane in Dublin is very easy to reach our place, bus 747 takes you to College Green stop from where there are 6 minutes walk. Also bus No.16 has a stop close to my place, on Georges Street.
4 Dublin Bike stations (Dublin City Council rent-a-bike system) available at less than 5 minutes walk.
A car park is available across the street at a overnight rate of 8.00 euro.
Anna & Ionica
It was my first experience with Airbnb and it was great. Ionica is a really caring and easy going host. He helped me even before I arrived in Dublin explaining me how to get to the city, he then picked me up at the bus stop and explained me where to go and what to do in the city. Him and his girlfriend are really welcoming. The room is clean, bright and spacious. The closet can be used to store your clothes and there is also a hairdryer available in the room. The bed is very comfortable. The plug converter from EU to UK plugs is available too. At night you can hear from time to time people being loud but it's not a big deal, even for a light sleeper like me.
Also, the flexible check in and check out times are really useful!
The location is exceptional, in the heart of Dublin and in walking distance to all the sightseeing spots and the nightlife in Dublin. I couldn't have made a better choice!
I will keep a great memory of my stay in Dublin, thanks to Ionica and Anna.
I loved it! Ionica is such a great guy!!!
The room is comfy and the location is just perfect - it's in the city centre and everything is very close by walk.
Perfect airbnb experience! Ionica and Anna were super friendly and caring (Ionica even picked me up at Trinity College), the flat was clean and the location is just great. You can go out partying in Temple Bar within a couple minutes walking distance, but the room itself is rather quiet. Many thanks for making my stay a very pleasant one! :)
Ionica and Anna are two of the most friendly, welcoming and hospitable people you will ever meet! I arrived in Dublin on my own with little knowledge of what to see or do, but I instantly felt as though I was staying with old friends. They gave me plenty of information and local knowledge to help me make the most of my few days in Dublin, and even took me for a walk around town and pointed out landmarks to help me get my bearings! The room is very comfortable and the location is ideal for exploring Dublin, a short walk to everything you could possibly need! Can't recommend their place enough! :)
Ionica is an awesome Mensch. He and his partner Anna are friendly and informal, offering me every courtesy. They know and love their adopted city. We had a lovey time together in the very heart of Dublin. I plan to visit them again next month upon my return to DUB
I really enjoyed my stay in Dublin, awesome city with a lot of sights and plenty to do. Ionica has been a great host, given me a lot of information, tipps and tricks. Can recommend Dublin and Ionicas apartment in every way. The apartment is really in the heart of Dublin, a lot of sights, pubs and shops are in a distance of 5 minute walk max.
I really appreciated Ionica´s and Anna´s welcome!
Ionica came on a bus stop near the house to show me the way. Then, he explained me all about Dublin on the map which was great cause I did not spent much time to find a way! He told me also what is good to visit and where are good restaurants and pubs.
I felt relly save and nice in their flat and it was close to all pubs and city center, so I could go by walk everywhere!
Thank you Ionica and Anna and maybe see you soon in Pays Basque! :-)
Ionica was a perfect host. He even met me at the bus stop. I couldn't choose a better location. He is walking distance from everything - Trinity College in one direction and Guiness Brewery in the other. He is prepared to receive you with maps and guides. He spent time with me answering my questions, drawing places on the map and giving me helpful advice. Ionica is both warm and respectful. Thank you. 5/5.
The location is great. Ionica and Anna both super sweet and helpful.
This was a lovely apt and centrally located. I only had 2 nights and was at the end of a very long journey but I was welcomed by Anna and she helped me find everything and places I needed to be especially getting to the airport early in the morning.
