Wonderful place to stay. Romantic, historic and near great walks along the Erie Canal. Jim was a great host - couldn't ask for more - friendly, attentive, helpful and entertaining. And what a breakfast treat he prepares! You feel like Lord and Lady of the Manor. Well worth a special trip to stay here!!
The Overlook Mansion is a beautiful retreat with large guest rooms, a great breakfast cooked to order, and scenic views. The mansion is located in a small town with a quaint shopping and restaurant district. My husband and I enjoyed our stay including chatting with other guests over breakfast.
Amazing place, I envy them their energy to take on such a project and wish them all the luck in the world for great success.
The mansion is beautiful inside and out standing majestically above the city of Little Falls, NY. The interior is kept with the original architecture and decorated beautifully with furniture that keeps with the late 1800's times. The staff are very warm and welcoming offering great tours that give some of the mansions rich history leaving you wanting to learn more. The rooms are all done very classy with the highest standards in mind leaving you waking up feeling like royalty. This was a wonderfully romantic valentines day for my girlfriend and I but could be used for a wide variety of events from a wedding down to a weekend retreat for the busy professional. I would recommend this to anyone and will be returning in the future.
