Located just east of I-35, right down the street from the Capitol and less than a miles walk from the Frank Irwin Center, lies a private apartment that can provide more amenities than some of your best rated hotels in downtown Austin. Close enough to walk to the heart of it all but just distant enough to avoid the noise! During your stay be you'll be surrounded by some of Austin's most precious jewels, i.e. Franklin BBQ, and yet close enough to walk to some of most up and coming hip bars, cafes, and notable restaurants on E. 6th. Austin's east side is colorful, eclectic, full of culture, cuisine and certainly not cookie-cutter!

This garage apartment comes with an open bedroom, full closet, armoire, and a brand new, plush, queen size bed; wake up to a view of the Capitol. The living room is furnished with a new queen size sleeper sofa, Direct TV cable and strong Wifi signal. Whether staying for a short or extended period of time and need to cook, there's a kitchen equipped with cooking pans, dishes, utensils, a clean refrigerator, double sink, microwave, oven, dishwasher and coffee maker. Located in the garage is a hassle free washer and dryer.

Get lean (but not mean) while in Austin! In the garage is a full gym available to you; home-gym, stair climber, treadmill, free-weights, and mats. This summer is going to be cruel and Barton Springs is going to be packed! Instead, cool off in the enclosed backyard pool; note that there is no lifeguard on duty so play safe! Want to relax even more, slip into the hot tub! These are definitely not kiddie pools so enjoy yourself!

The apartment is secured by a privacy fence and a carport parking spot; great for shielding that brutal Texas sun!

You'll be so close to all of Austin's main attractions, you really won't need to use your vehicle. Located one block over on 12th st. is the CapMetro's East 6 route. This will drop you off directly in front of the Capitol or on towards W. 6th (vibrant scene). You may also want to look into Getaround or Car2Go; car sharing services.

Two night stays are preferred however, nightly, weekly, and monthly rates are available.

This is an amazing property located in a great location! Sure there are plenty of other cool and quirky spots available for rent but where else in east or downtown Austin can you find all of this available solely to you? Please feel free to write and ask any questions you may have about the attractions in this amazing city. I love hosting and find a lot a pleasure in making the most out of my guests stay here in Austin.

  • This was a great place to stay in East Austin. Lucia was very accommodating and helpful, even picking me and my friend up from a shuttle location near the airport. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a great deck and is within walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would stay here again myself!

  • Loved staying at Lucia's place in austin. The guest house had comfortable bedding, temperature control and a great deck to have morning coffee on. Hot tub and gym served us well too.

Was also nice to have covered parking spot and an entrance gate for the property. I was traveling with quite a bit of equipment (moving cross country) and the security gate gave piece of mind.

Lucia was there when we arrived to show us around and give us the keys. Thanks!

  • Lucia was the ultimate host with the ultimate place to stay in Austin. Me and my friends stayed at the house and loved every second. It's not as spacious as you might expect, but is comfortable for 4 people. Definitely worth the money!

  • Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the pool and hot tuub. The management is great and easy to work with. We will definitely stay there again when we need a place to crash in Austin. Bring extra towels and pillows if you have more than two people staying.

  • This was a great place for my fiancee and I to stay while we were in Austin. It's close to some really nice restaurants/bars, and the hot tub and pool were great! Lucia was very reachable, and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Staying at the Oasis was just great! Having your own private pool and Jacuzzi made a difference. The apartment is located in a quiet eastern part of town but only two streets up from 11th street where you can find all sorts of cafes and restaurants and bakeries. We only stayed there one night but our host was very welcoming and friendly and explained everything very well. I recommend this place for sure!

Born on October 31, 1983, Lucia Briones entered the world on what experts have described as “shaky ground”. Lucy, armed with a predilection for travel from the very start, set out for a world not quite ready for all the noise she was about to bring. Little known fact: Lucy’s parents are Jewish. Her true last name is Brioneskowskistein. The name was shortened in 1985 to escape anti-mexisemitic persecution. As a proud Mexi-Jew, Lucy still enjoys the occasional bagel, served enchilada-style. Be aware that she has a strong aversion to the word “panties”. It is unknown what effect, if any, this has on her use of the clothing item. She is considering replacing it with the word “plint”. Lucy is a tall hobbit. A tall, hot hobbit…a “hottit”, if you will. L > A + B + C. If “A” = the soothing patter of rain falling in the forest, “B” = the melodic harmony of Pachelbel’s Canon in D, and “C” = the gentle whisper of ocean surf on the beach, then what does “L” equal? Answer: “L” = the magnetic music of Lucy’s laughter. Lucy is fluent in four languages: English, Spanish, Spanglish, and the rare Hotchickish. However, she enjoys pretending that she can, in fact, speak every language on earth, including fictional languages such as Elvish and Klingon. When accused of being full of it, Lucy responded: “Nu luini yassen tintilar i eleni ómaryo airetári-lírinen” (translation unavailable). Scientists have been studying the hypnotic light brown hues of Lucy’s eyes for years. They have concluded the following: the color is found nowhere else on earth, but it IS found in the dazzling ring layers that surround the planet Saturn. It should be noted, however, that some suspect these scientists are only making excuses to stare into her eyes for hours on end. Crayola has introduced crayons attempting to copy the color and is holding a public vote to name it. The choices include: Iridescent Terra Cotta, Sexual Chocolate, Sepia-Lucia, and Bronzed Beauty. This is the abridged story of a woman. A little listless lovely-looking lady liked by loads and lusted after long before a likable Louisville lout luckily located her in Lexington, lapsing into laborious long-distance love. That woman is Lucy.
