Thanks for your cooperation!
Paul was great. He was very thoughtful and attentive to my needs while staying with him.
The room is exactly as pictured in the profile - very bright, airy and well-designed. It's interesting to have the room on the same floor as an art gallery - certainly adds to the novelty! The common area was big, comfortable and colourfully-designed too. Very interesting with bits of art hanging everywhere. There is a shared bathroom, and i'm not keen on common bathrooms, but it was clean and i didn't bump into anyone every time i wanted to use it. There was a coffee machine, tea and even eye mask provided in room. Appreciated the little library too.
Neighbourhood is lively and it's nice to watch people walking/cycling down the street at different times of the day. Loved the organic supermarket a few doors down the road, and the metro station which is a minute walk away.
Paul's place is clean, spacious and artistic. The people were really kind and there was a lot of artistic activity in the gallery space which was great. The location was also very good and makes for a great time in Berlin.
The location of Pauls place was great and near to most spots in Berlin, it was excellent to find the tube station (U-Bahn) just a stones throw from the entrance too. For all of you who love hamburgers as much as I do, we lived just above the best place in Berlin to have one! Paul was kind and polite so we felt at home, I would recommened this room to anyone who wants to visit Berlin. If you're lucky, it will be going on some cool art exhibition in his gallery during your stay that you can attend!
Wow, this place is seriously stunning. The best airbnb we have ever stayed in..not just because of the interior design but because of the area as well. There is so much to do/eat in this area and the U-bahn is on the doorstop. Also, Paul was a perfect host! Always there when we needed and often for a nice chat. Would recommend this completely, and will be sure to come back!
I stayed at Paul's place for this past weekend and it was absolutely great! The room is nice and big, the location is great and Paul is wonderful. He helped us with recommendations and everything we needed! Highly recommended:)
My experience staying at Paul's place was everything I could have hoped for. This was my first time in Berlin and it was perfect. The room was lovely—bright, airy and very clean. A beautiful and functional space with great style and the most comfortable bed ever. Also, the kettle and other bits and bobs that were included in the room made me feel well cared for. Paul was very welcoming. I felt immediately at home. He and his gallery are interesting and engaging. The space is well located - convenient and accessible. The subway stop is basically right in front of the building so it easy to get to other parts of the city - if you want to. However, the Kreuzberg neighborhood is fantastic and so rich. The Turkish markets were wonderful and there are two organic grocery stores very near the building. And the best vegan pizza just a few doors down!!! I would highly recommend this space to anyone who wants a quiet, clean, lovely space with good energy located in an incredibly interesting neighborhood. I will definitely be back!

About the Host, Paul
I am part of an open, supportive community of visual artists, curators, architects, music producers that welcomes international guests.
We have newly renovated guest rooms available at our new art center right in the middle of the lively cosmopolitan neighborhood dubbed "Kreuzkoelln", the creative area connecting Kreuzberg and Neukoelln. The studios are suitable for art lovers or creative persons that appreciate spacious surroundings and a creative atmosphere that allows for communication and interaction as well as introspection, productivity, relaxation and privacy.
Together, we have lovingly built our art house in a historic loft that has seen use as billiard salon, Kaffeehaus and cinema. It comprises ateliers and guest rooms, and a large salon/lobby/kitchen area. At our large gallery space, we set up exhibitions, organize workshops, screenings, talks and such. If they wish, our guests can take part in any event, or even talk to us about setting up one themselves if needed.
I work as an artist, curator and general director of our art house, after founding and managing an art space in Friedrichshain for the last four years. I have been doing such work for quite a while already, having shown my art around the world; setting up art enclaves, and immersing myself in Berlin's creative and underground scenes from the pre-Wall Kreuzberg to post-Wall Mitte and beyond.
Sharing my experience and knowledge is a pleasure to me, and I shall be happy to give you tips or advice while staying here.
