We had a great few days staying at Somos. The room is large, clean and very tastefully decorated. All of the residents were welcoming and Paul was very helpful. It was a fun experience to experience life as a Berlin artist. The location is excellent - close to metro, bars and restaurants. would highly recommend!
Paul was great. He welcomed us into the studio and we were very comfortable and secure. The location was excellent for seeing Berlin with many food eateries close by. Parking on street is free and the city is alive with culture and energy.
This is my 2nd stay with Paul. Again, everyone living and working there was very welcoming and open to collaborate. The events are alive and full of energy. Great space and great people. I highly recommend this place if you're an artist. Nothing but good vibes.
Paul is very kind and good host. The room just like the picture uploaded on website. No It was much better than expected.
Furniture at the room is sophisticated.
And the room is bright and lovely sunny.
It is located at Kottbusser street. It's a good for going to a nice restaurants and bars.
Sometime, At night there was the noises from under the restaurant outside the window, but the restaurant doen't open late.
This room is my best experience of airbnb I had.
If you want to stay neukölln, in term of lower cost, location, I'll recommend this room.
Paul was great. He was very thoughtful and attentive to my needs while staying with him.
The room is exactly as pictured in the profile - very bright, airy and well-designed. It's interesting to have the room on the same floor as an art gallery - certainly adds to the novelty! The common area was big, comfortable and colourfully-designed too. Very interesting with bits of art hanging everywhere. There is a shared bathroom, and i'm not keen on common bathrooms, but it was clean and i didn't bump into anyone every time i wanted to use it. There was a coffee machine, tea and even eye mask provided in room. Appreciated the little library too.
Neighbourhood is lively and it's nice to watch people walking/cycling down the street at different times of the day. Loved the organic supermarket a few doors down the road, and the metro station which is a minute walk away.
Paul's place is clean, spacious and artistic. The people were really kind and there was a lot of artistic activity in the gallery space which was great. The location was also very good and makes for a great time in Berlin.

About the Host, Paul
I am part of an open, supportive community of visual artists, curators, architects, music producers that welcomes international guests.
We have newly renovated guest rooms available at our new art center right in the middle of the lively cosmopolitan neighborhood dubbed "Kreuzkoelln", the creative area connecting Kreuzberg and Neukoelln. The studios are suitable for art lovers or creative persons that appreciate spacious surroundings and a creative atmosphere that allows for communication and interaction as well as introspection, productivity, relaxation and privacy.
Together, we have lovingly built our art house in a historic loft that has seen use as billiard salon, Kaffeehaus and cinema. It comprises ateliers and guest rooms, and a large salon/lobby/kitchen area. At our large gallery space, we set up exhibitions, organize workshops, screenings, talks and such. If they wish, our guests can take part in any event, or even talk to us about setting up one themselves if needed.
I work as an artist, curator and general director of our art house, after founding and managing an art space in Friedrichshain for the last four years. I have been doing such work for quite a while already, having shown my art around the world; setting up art enclaves, and immersing myself in Berlin's creative and underground scenes from the pre-Wall Kreuzberg to post-Wall Mitte and beyond.
Sharing my experience and knowledge is a pleasure to me, and I shall be happy to give you tips or advice while staying here.
