Private country setting. Wide open spaces that allow you to relax & soak in the natural beauty of NW Pennsylvania. Numerous birds frequent the birdfeeders. Direct access to country road for leisurely strolls. Historic Downtown Bradford has much to offer for all ages. Items typically provided for guests: coffee, tea, milk, eggs, english muffins, butter, instant cereal. Recent upgrade to the spacious kitchen, a built-in 30" wall oven. Starting in October, weekends are 2 night minimum.

The space
Country setting. Serene, private location. Sets back off a country road which improves the safety for children and dogs. Lots of space to explore the yard. Enjoy evenings sitting on patio listening to owls, watching for an occasional deer to stroll into yard. Build a fire in the pit or fire-up the charcoal grill. Wood logs & charcoal provided. Stay warm on patio with the propane space heater. The house is comfy and offers a homey feel. The house has well water, and a water softener unit. Well water is what we have used for 36 years. It is safe to bathe with and consume. There is an odor from Iron in water, most guest will notice this & have concerns. The excess iron over the years causes stains to bathtub and toilet bowl. The rust color is not a sign of unclean surfaces. Most guest prefer to drink bottled water which is provided.

Guest access
Guests will be staying in the entire house ground floor. Basement is not accessible. There are concrete steps with wood handrail, to walk from driveway to front door. Solar lights at walkway for ease of walking, motion senor flood light over garage, and patio lights on timers.

Other things to note
One dog is welcome, if you have more than one, please discuss with host prior to booking. More than one dog, guest will have an added fee ($50 / night ). Recently there was dog damage in a bedroom. PLEASE DON'T LEAVE YOUR DOG UNATTENDED in the house while you go on an adventure. We provide doggie waste bags and waste receptacle, please clean up after your pets.
