I have another casita (Cheerful Casita in Tucson) on this site so please take a look at that one if your dates are not available in this unit.
We had a great time staying at Celia's Casita in Tucson. It was conveniently located and quite comfortable. We especially enjoyed morning coffee in the courtyard, among the raucous morning chorus of birds.
Celia's place was just as advertised. It was comfortable and clean. Celia met me when I arrived and quickly showed me around. The Casita is old, but in good repair. The neighborhood looks a little shady at first, but, again, it's just because it's old. I'm guessing it's a working class or student area and is very safe. I was comfortable there and spoke to a few neighbors that seemed very nice.
I arrived late afternoon and left very early the next morning so I didn't spend much awake time in the house. I would most definitely stay there again.
This casita was wonderful! It was a perfect size for the two of us and gave us a nice place to rest our heads during our few days in Tucson. We enjoyed walking to the coffee shop in the mornings and found the location to be perfect for us. Everything was easy, and Cecelia and Jim were so responsive to all of our questions. We'd love to stay here again in the future!
They had an event going on that weekend with many people participating so we did not have much contact with Celia. The casita is old with old plumbing etc. At first I thought it was not cleaned well but then realized it is just old. The bed was very comfotable and the Casita was pleasant. The location was fantastic about 20 min form everything. We were not there a lot as we were visitng relatives.
My only complaint was that we pointed out to Celia that the battery in the somke detector was missing in the bedroom. She said she thought she had one and would take care of it. It was never fixed in the week we were there. Granted there was a detector that was working in the kitchen but we felt the battery should have been replaced.
The nieghborhood was very safe and we never had any anxiety about the location. Our only disappointment was the battery.
Our annual visit to Tucson was fantastic at Celia's casita! She is so friendly and helpful. We felt entirely welcome as we picnicked and gathered with friends and family in the other casitas. They are well equipped for our month long stay and we appreciate the easy, free laundry access on site. We definitely will return next year and so will my sister and her husband. We love it.
Celia is a friendly, responsive hostess. There was coffee and fresh fruit available in the casita. Her casita is centrally located . It was easy to get to wherever you wanted to go. The casita was quiet with lots of sun and a nice view of the mountains. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of hot water. Use of washers and dryers were available for no extra cost. I would stay there again.
This is a great place to stay in Tucson and I hope to return. My girlfriend and I came from Tempe and went blues dancing at the Dance Loft. This casita was nearby.
Celia returned my call quickly when I mistook the patio door for the main door. We did not have any problems with the casita and we had a quiet and comfortable stay.
