About This Listing
A beautiful ocean-front apartment, breezy and sun-drenched, in amazingly vibrant Miraflores.
Enormous fifth-floor living room spills out into the balcony, overlooking the ocean. You will fall in love with this view -- the best of Lima, green canyons, and the arch of my favorite bridge, Puente del Parque del Amor, shown in the photo.
The separate dining room includes a table that seats 6 guests. The bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, a 28" TV, writing desk, two full bathrooms with tub and shower. The apartment has an additional half-bathroom for guests. A third person can sleep in the living room sofa for an extra $15. If you need the bed sheets to be changed as optional, an extra $15 will be charged.
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. The apartment also includes a washer / dryer.
The apartment is a prime location in the very hip Miraflores, walking distance from new and trendy hotels, art galleries, boutiques. Very close to some of the best new restaurants in Lima, including Central and Rafael--both named best restaurants in the city last year. Astrid & Gaston was recently named one of the top 40 restaurants in the world. La Gloria is a classic.
The apartment also has free internet Wi-Fi, TV cable, telephone (free local calls) and intercom buzzer. The living room also comes equipped with an excellent stereo system and Bose speakers ready for your iPod.
The building has front desk and 24 hours concierge.
The place has a living in house keeper. She stays by the laundry quarters on the other side of the apartment (It is a big apartment), and doesn't interfere with the guests' routine. Optionally, she is available for cleaning, laundry and errands.

Volvare!
We had a wonderful time while staying in Ana's apartment. The location was excellent--within walking distance to great restaurants and public transit. The view from the balcony was amazing, and Ana's artful decorating made the apartment such a joy to spend time in. Monica was there to meet us when we first arrived, and while we saw her here and there during our stay, she was never imposing.
Near the ocean, with view.
Noisy from cars on streets above, but that is common in most of Lima.
Big apt, with 2,5 bathroom, big livingroom and sleeping room.
The housekeeper is living in a room in the House, just you know, but she is very nice.
Good communication from the renter. The apartment was just as presented- open, bright, with a great view of the ocean and sunsets. Well located, its very close to the boardwalk, Kennedy Park and Larcomar Mall. The guest bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was nice- the other rooms were not accessible.
As the apartment is older and is facing the street, there is a lot of noise in the living room. The guest bedroom is in the back of the apartment so it is quieter.
It should be mentioned that although this apartment is separate, the kitchen is shared with another apartment unit. Those tenants are kind and helpful and do not enter your part of the space, but it is important to know that the apartment is set up this way.
Thanks for all your comments Jeffrey, it was a pleasure to host you as well. Just to clarify, the tenant you mention, is Monica, the house keeper, that has been working with me and my family for about 20 years and lives in the service area, which is part of the apartment.
Staying at Ana's apartment for several days was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. The view is actually better than the pictures show. It's close to fantastic restaurants and a shopping mall. The housekeeper, Monica, was extremely nice and showed us around the apartment when we arrived very late at night. Monica kept to herself and we only saw her when we made special requests. The bed was comfortable. The doormen were kind and courteous 24x7.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
