Renting out the entire house for sxsw
Central-east, furnished 3 bedroomAustin house. Great SXSW space. It's in the heart of the east-Austin art community. Large common areas and spacious back porch. We are 2 miles from the center city, and a short walk/bike ride to east 6th street. The house also has a single car garage for anything you want to store - e.g. bikes, or bags, etc. Can include bike rental for the week with lock. House is in a great location, and is available to fit more than a few folks if necessary. 2 blocks from Cesar Chavez, with plenty of bus lines to take you dt if you don't feel like walking or biking.
Entire house. You can go everywhere. except my secret closet. just kidding. you can't find that anyway.
Interaction with Guests
Will be there to meet you, let you in and get you set up.
Amazing neighborhood - a few blocks from a grocery store, plenty of great restaurants and food trucks - and the trail by the river. it is a straight shot to downtown.
Great bus routes that run down 1st Avenue (this is just north of 3rd avenue). Can also arrange for some complimentary bikes - depending on your size.
Don't trash the place, don't drive our neighbors crazy. Other than that, we are pretty laid back.
What an amazing, helpful host and clean room/house. I would definitely stay here again.
So, I was in Austin for the fast-paste SXSW. Michael predicted I would have little time for breakfast so he bought me some bananas, yogurt, strawberries and hummus. You know, the perfect grab-and-go stuff.
He was very sweet and made a list with all the good restaurants around the area. I went to Juan in a Million. Good!
Michael also showed me which bus to take to the Convention Center. It’s the 17, btw. It’s like an 8-minute ride.
The private room and bathroom were squeaky clean! Michael even left me a new bar soap and some clean towels. Best of all, the bed was super comfortable! I slept like a baby.
-Camacho and Cathryn, his roommates, are super cool and were very helpful. Miss them already!
This was the perfect place to stay. The location is very convenient - close to several bars and restaurants as well as grocery stores. I had no trouble biking from here to 6th Street.
The house is exactly as advertised - a large master bedroom with private attached bath, new and clean kitchen. huge back yard and porch. The host was helpful and down to earth - I will definitely be staying here again.
I'm a lawyer for a nonprofit in Austin. I work for social justice, I like riding bikes, backyard beers, and am a mediocre musician. I have traveled through south america (lived there for a year), mexico, new zealand, and a bit elsewhere - and generally had a great air bnb experience. Hoping that you'll feel very comfortable in my place - I enjoy it a lot and hope you will too!
