Jempiring is a villa compound, and this villa is one of four villas in the 1,500㎡ site. .The number of burglarious entrances is increasing year by year in Bali, where a house built alone in rice fields tend to become a target. Besides, at the villa compound, a night security is stationed from 9PM-5AM 365 days, while five security cameras were installed in the site. Nevertheless, we recommend you use a strongbox installed in a bed room for your valuables. We try our best to make sure our customers stay safely in the villa.
A friendly Balinese caretaker, Ketut, who lives nearby the villa will take care of anything you need. He speaks decent English. To protect your privacy, he does not stay with you 24 hours, but will come to you from his home as soon as you call him. The villa is cleaned up from 10am-noon everyday, except for the days of Balinese ceremony. In the daytime a gardener comes and works in the villa for gardening. In the night, a security man stays in a separate security house from 9pm-5am. Even thought there are many villas that change bed sheets only every 2 day, but we do it everyday.
If you need airport pick up, we can arrange a car (Denpasar-the Villa, or vice versa) for 300,000 rupia, which is about USD 27. Please pay it to the driver directly. For any transport request, please talk to Ketut, our staff. He will help you find a good way.
Last but not least. The owner's policy is......
"We provide our customers fully with Balinese atmosphere, but with cleanliness based on Japanese standard ! "
The owner lives in Sanur, 40 min ride from Ubud. The owner comes to the villa 2-3 times a week to check the conditions of the villa.
It's a fabulous place. Our only problem is that we have been in this paradise just 3 days! It's hopeless little to enjoy such comfort, kindness cute Ketut, unity with nature, beautiful views. Yoshi gorgeous, caring host was provided all the details to his guests to feel comfortable and cozy in his house. Some design finds we use in its housing))). Villa was better than on the photo. I would definitely return there once already advised this place to my friends. I recommend!
This house is really nice and has all of the modern commodities. A little bit out of the town center, it's a great place to relax and calm down after a day of visiting temples and meeting some extraordinary people. The rooms are spacious and clean. The living area and the pool are just perfect.
Yoshi was a great host. His personnel is also very attentive. If I come back to Ubud, I wouldn't think twice about renting this place (website hidden) You should expect to take a cab (50k roupiah) or use a motorcycle to get to the village center.
Yoshi, you have a truly wonderful place. The villa is situated just on the outskirts of Ubud, so we hired scooters during our stay, although a taxi is only about 50,000 to (£2.50) into town.
Ketut welcomed us to the Villa and was on hand to help out from arranging our first Taxi to arranging our boat to Lombock.
He comes in every day to change the sheets, clean and make nice, at our convenience and on top of that he is a kind .
There is a lovely swimming pool that is cleaned every day and a very pretty garden.
Although the kitchen is small we found it fine for breakfast and simple meals but quite frankly restaurants are abundant in Ubud and super cheap and most will deliver to the Villa if you wanted a night in, watching DVD's which can be picked up for around 50p!! (Although there is already a good collection of which we have added to.....please note The Wolf of Wall Steet is the uncut version and lasted 3 hours!)
This place is magical. Absolutely magical. I spent a week at this place. My primary reason for booking here was to be able to have a place to work. I had many crucial deadlines and I needed an idyllic and affordable place in which to make those deadlines. I didn't leave the house for FOUR days and it was awesome. I had everything I needed. I had a great work space, a great relaxing space, a great recluse space, a great recreational space (swimming pool), and a great rest space.
There were so many restaurant delivery options to the house that catered to my dietary needs and wants.
I used to live in Lombok/Bali and it was so great to be 'home.'
The driver - Made - and the house care taker - Ketut - are AMAZING. They are so keen to take care of anything you could possibly need. And Yoshi is second to none in terms of replying to my requests and making things happen. I could not be more pleased with my stay.
The only thing to be mindful of is that this place is open air concept and you're bound to come face to face with some mini-wildlife. The cecaks (geckos) are so cute, the lightning bugs prolific, the frogs a welcome distraction, and there are a few others. But I wouldn't change it for the world!!
I could not recommend this place more.
Yoshi's place is incredible and, while it sounds cliche, the pictures really don't do it justice. A flawless setting that is just far enough from town to feel relaxing, but close enough that it's easy to jump in a taxi for a coffee. Yoshi was a terrific communicator throughout and his staff were accommodating, welcoming and exceptionally available to arrange taxis, etc.
Our only regret is that we were only able to spend a few nights!
We stayed at Yoshi's lovely villa for a week in January 2014. It is located close to a jungle forest which gives you a peculiar experience of living in the wild while enjoying all the modern conveniences. The swimming pool is big and great to swim 24/7. The rooms are clean, the furniture is new and all the facilities are working properly. The staff, janitor Ketut and the gardener (forgot his name) are nice people and were not at all annoyed when our 18-month son was trying to "help" them do their chores. Overall, we spent a fantastic at Yoshi's villa in Ubud and will recommend our friends and colleagues to go there too. Alexei and Daria
We loved our stay! The house is better in person than in the pictures!!!! Very clean, great location and amazing service, Ketut was so welcoming and helpful. We hope we are lucky enough to return! Thank you, thank you.
Our stay in this villa was amazing! Very good and careful owner. Staff is very simpathic and kind. Service is on top! Also want to say that the location of this villa is very comfortable. You're staying really close to the city(5 min by byke) but in the same time you can stay in a quiet place and enjoy with rice fields and beautiful village views. Thanks a lot for our positive memories! We all hope to come back to this place!
We had the best experience in Bali!! This is truly highly recommended villa in Ubud, Bali!!
The owner, Yoshi has been so helpful from before the arrival until we depart Bali. Villa was so nice and so rich in nature! Our kids enjoyed a lot for the activities in Bali which you recommended, helped to book, transport!! My son wrote a diary with picture for this trip and it was so many drawing! Swimming, elephant, dolphin, motor bike, food, firefly...
Also free rental of local cellular phone was so helpful.
The villa was super beautiful and well maintained with the keeper, Ketut. He's very kind guy and always support us at anytime. Clean bed rooms with air conditioner, useful kitchen, wi-fi service, water server, and most importantly, washing machine was so important for us as we brought children! The location was also perfect to feel the "real Bali" rather than in the town. We are so sure that all of us were so relaxed and healed from the city life fatigue.
We decided to visit there because Yoshi found us baby sitters for our twins babies before we go so that we could easily make decision to go. Baby sitters were so nice!! They came and helped us everyday although it was new year vacation trip!
Ajung was a good driver that Yoshi arranged for us! My son liked him so much and he still talks about him!
We'll definitely come back to there!!
