David was very welcoming. He provided several suggestions for places to walk, eat, enjoy sunset all of which we enjoyed. Accommodations are small but cozy and well supplied in a very private, quiet setting. Easy walk to Forsythe Park (10 min), historic Savannah and the riverwalk (25-30 min).
David's hospitality went above and beyond as he graciously helped us with an unanticipated event during our visit.
Looking forward to another longer visit in Savannah and a stay in Never Blue.
David is an exceptionally gracious host: warm and welcoming. He provided lots of ideas for places to explore on my first trip to Savannah. The RV, while small and cosy, has all the essentials for an out of town visit. I was greeted by two lovely hens who kindly provided a couple of fresh eggs for breakfast. The location is great: a quick drive or short walk to the main attractions.
our stay at never blue was great! the property is beautiful and the RV is very cozy. it is not pristinely clean (bit dusty) but is perfectly acceptable. david tree leaves guests coffee and tea which is a nice perk. i found the neighborhood to be quiet and charming, conveniently located about 7-10 minutes walk from the historic district.
we did have some checking in issues when david tree went off the radar for a couple hours and we couldn't get in to never blue, but it worked out beautifully in the end.
our stay at never blue was wonderful! the property is absolutely lovely and i found the neighborhood to be pleasant and quite. it's conveniently located 5 minutes from the historic district.
we did have a few issues getting in touch with david to get access into never blue and the hot water heater stopped heating water during our stay, but these things happen and i would gladly stay at never blue again when traveling to savannah.
Tree made me feel very welcome. He was extremely solicitous regarding my comfort and well- being in general-- and had great recs for places in the area to visit. Not having been to Savannah previously, I really appreciated his detailed suggestions, which were all good. The neighborhood was comfortable for walking, central to town sites without being too touristy.
Online photos are a very accurate portrait of Never Blue. Especially enjoyed his yard and chickens, and visiting the henhouse for the eggs!
Very interesting experience. David is a great person. He kindly gave me some oranges and grapefruits from Florida. His place is a truly oasis.
I stayed for a night in the 'Never Blue' camper - and found the whole experience really delightful and convenient. It's in a quiet residential neighborhood and convenient to everything. Altho David and his wife were out of town, he was able to give me the tour over the phone and answered a question or two.
