Tyler's cabin is perfect! I would definitely stay there again! The cabin is cozy and sunny and the fire pit is great for making dinner outside and sitting and watching the stars with a glass of wine :)

Super cute, cozy, tidy, and beautifully decorated cabin away from the tourists and busy townships of upstate NY. Tyler communicated well, our check in was easy. Pictures don't do the cabin justice - everything is so well kept and the bathroom was surprisingly modern. Incredible book and instrument collection, a lovely outdoor meals area, and very comfortable full bed. I'll stay here again!

Saying this place is amazing is an understatement. Very cozy cabin, with everything you need for your stay, and if you happen to be an avid reader, they've got you covered too. Book with no hesitation, you'll not be disappointed. Great place, great area!

It is a lovely cabin in quite woods. I enjoyed my stay, especially book selection there. I didn't even read my books I brought. Ambience is so nice and cozy. Highly recommend.

A perfect get a way from the city. Comfortable and cosy. Awesome fire pit for grilling and great garden!! Close distance to a lot of ourdoor hiking area and a good spot to relax on a rainy day. We walked to the country Inn one night for dinner which was lovely. Thanks for the recommendation! The piano was an added bonus!! Hope to return soon.

Tyler's cabin is perfect for a quiet and relaxing break, in beautiful surroundings. It's well equipped, comfortable and cosy. The garden and fire pit is lovely. We loved visiting local towns like Phoenicia, the diner was great for breakfast. Lots to do within a short driving distance. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Tyler User ProfileTyler is a superhost.

I am a school teacher by day, teaching English Language Arts at a middle school in Queens. At night I am a musician playing at various venues around town (e I have lived in NYC for 5 years now and in the studio apartment for 3.

On top of teaching I am working on my Ph.D. in philosophy and spend a great deal of time reading and writing for my dissertation. I have a cabin upstate and spend a lot of weekends up there writing.

This is why I feel I can offer my apartment for temporary visitors.

When I travel I like to either stay with a family or in a hostel. Most of my time is spent out in the city soaking up the culture. I am looking for visitors who are quiet and respectful and who want a private apartment so they won't be exhausted by hostel-living or drained by the expense of a hotel.

When stay at my place you will have it all to yourself. I am a hands-off host who will provide you with what you need and then get out of your hair.
