Interaction with Guests
As much as they would like
It is in the heart of the Garden District
The public (RTA) buss stop is directly in front of the house on Magazine St. the street car is a beautiful 4 block walk away. A cab ride to either the Quarters or further Uptown will be no more than $12 before tip. There is no need for a vehicle when you rent any of my locations including this one.
Other Things to Note
My neighbors cat Fergal has become a fixture here. However, I would prefer that he does not come inside of the apartment. Some of my guests are allergic to cat dander. This is a studio in a very Old Sugar Cane Plantation that was built somewhere in the late 1800's. It has all of the original features and blemishes. However, this is a very comfortable studio, if you are looking for ultra clean & modern amenities this probably will not suit your needs.
Please no smoking or pets inside.(Pets considered on a case by case situations) It would be appreciated if shoes come off at the door. The Wine refrigerator is off limits. Since I am not charging an additional cleaning fee on most dates please leave the house in the condition you received it
I do provide bar soap, iron, & a hair dryer.
Check in is at 3pm
Check out is at 10am
Gretta's place was lovely! Looks just like the pictures she has on her profile. It is located in the heart of the garden district. Walking distance to all the best bars and restaurants in magazine. Very close to the st Charles trolley. The apartment was quiet and quaint. I would book again and would recommend her place to anyone visiting new Orleans!
The location of the apartment is excellent. You can literally walk out door and catch a bus to downtown or french quarter area or a few short blocks to trolley. Walking distance to restaurants in the Garden District. the best food we had was at The Rum a House in the Garden District.
For the most part we enjoyed our stay. The neighbourhood is lovely and the neighbours themselves very welcoming. The house we stayed in is full of old grandeur, but could do with a good clean and de-clutter, particularly the windows, sills and kitchen, which also needed a frying pan!
located in the heart of the Garden District just a quick walk to cute little shops and restaurants! We only stayed for one day and wish we could have stayed longer! Very charming room :)
Gray and I had such a fun time at the Garden District Gem. It's in the heart of by far one of the most magnificent neighborhoods in America. Plenty of personal walking tours of the hood, parks, and close to the street car. Gretta's studio came with everything promised, and we spent our last afternoon on the porch, sipping coffee and eating donuts and sandwiches (from Stein's and District Donut down the street). Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and fun place to anchor their stay in NOLA.
