Great studio in a nice location. Gretta was an excellent host and I'd definitely stay here again.
Nice place in a cool area! Greta responded very quickly and was easy to work with!
First time Airbnb stay. Had a great experience. Everything was just as described. Great location. Very convenient to all the Garden district and Uptown attractions. parked the car and never moved it. This apartment is perfect for a quick getaway trip to the cresent city. If you want to get the authentic New Orleans experience, this is for you. I always take my bike when I go to NOLA. You can cover all of lower New Orleans from Audubon Park to the French Quarter and beyond. I didn't get the opportunity to meet Greta but she was very good at communicating. I always look forward to returning to a familiar place and will certainly return if Greta will have me. The kitchen is small but adequate. Full size fridge. Not really suitable for cooking a meal but who wants to do that when you are within walking distance of the best restaurants. in the world. Hated to leave
Our stay was very comfortable! This apartment was very similar to the uptown studios and lofts my friends have lived in over the years. It is in a safe neighborhood with easy walking to bars and coffee shops. Gretta was very quick to reply and accomodating for key retrieval. Big cars may have trouble in the drive way, but our compact was perfect. Thanks Gretta
This apartment was perfect for our 4 day stay in New Orleans. Great coffee, po boys, bars and restaurants nearby and it's 10 minute to the French Quarter via public transportation (bus stops outside the apartment and the streetcar is just a few block away). The space was clean and comfortable and Gretta was hospitable and available by phone to answer any of our questions.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gretta's place. It was perfect for our needs. It was cozy and comfortable and the antique heater kept the space toasty warm (since we decided to visit during the only cold days New Orleans will have all year). It was in the best neighborhood and was within walking distance of all kinds of amazing places. Magazine street is just covered in adorable little shops. District Donuts Sliders Brew has just about the best coffee I've ever had, not to mention amazing house made donuts!! We also walked and had a fantastic diner brunch from Slim Goodies. Last but not least right around the corner is a tiny little dive bar/restaurant called Parasols where we got the worlds most amazing po boys and hot wings. So the point is, the space is perfect, the location is perfect, Gretta is a magnificent host who is quick to respond to all inquiries. We would absolutely book with her again!
We had a pretty nice stay at Gretta's home. It is in a great location. We enjoyed walking one morning to the French Quarter. The streetcars aren't far away either. When we got to the apartment the toilet was broken, with the lid left off. Apparently, maintenance was supposed to have fixed it before we arrived. It was fixed the next day, which was nice, but was a bit of a setback and an added stress after a long day of traveling. We didn't get a chance to meet Gretta, but she seemed nice on the phone. The parking space is kind of narrow, so if you have a big car you might have a little trouble fitting. But I think there is probably parking available on the street, too. We enjoyed our stay in New Orleans and look forward to our next visit.
