Gretta was very accomodating and we were able to check in at a later time. The place is exactly as described and pictured and is so very cozy and comfortable. The location is also Great and the neighborhood is very cool! We simply wish that we could've stayed longer!
Great little place, great location near transportation and along a cool/active stretch with neat shops/restaurants. Great decor and clean. Gretta was responsive and available if we needed anything. Totally recommend it!
Although our time there was short, we enjoyed our stay in Gretta's comfortable and cozy place. With its fantastic location in the Garden district as well as its unique New Orleans vibe, we got the taste of NOLA we have been longing for.
A lovely respite from the frozen tundra of Chicago. The back porch sitting area and friendly neighborhood cat were just perfect. The apartment was clean and charming, not to mention walking distance from all that Magazine Street has to offer. I would stay there again because it felt like living in New Orleans, not staying in a hotel.
This apartment is very cute and in a wonderful location in the heart of the garden district.
The apartment was in a great location, the neighbourhood was lovely & I felt really safe there. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, bars and shops on Magazine street. However the apartment itself was really filthy. The bed sheets had stains on them, I'm not sure if they had been washed prior to our stay! The shower was freezing cold and the apartment in general was really dirty. Definitely not how it was described in the listing or the photo's. There is a difference between shabby boho chic and just general dirt.
We didn't meet Gretta but she was really helpful with directions on how to get there and got back to me really quickly. However that was all of the communication we had. It would have been nice to have had some recommendations on good places to go and eat etc...
Would come back to new Orleans again but would not be staying at Gretta's apartment again.
