The Space

Beautiful two-bedroom apartment near public transport and walking distance to Golden Gate Park, Academy of Sciences, DeYoung Museum and more!

Clean, welcoming, light-filled, warm and spacious - all for you and your family and friends. Family-friendly Perfect base for exploring all the best of San Francisco! Walk to Haight Ashbury without having to stay there, walk to the park and its many attractions, take the bus on the same block to head downtown or bike around the countless bike paths at the door step!

Two big (!) bedrooms. One has a queen-size bed (master bedroom), the other has a super-comfortable king-size bed that can convert to a single twin size if desired. Excellent, well-stocked kitchen, desks throughout to enjoy that high-speed internet, super-clean bathroom with full tub and neverending hot water as it's centrally heated! Neighbors are quiet and street noise at night is minimal.

The apartment has a beautiful dining table made from 100-year-old redwood, art on the walls made by many of my artist friends, and unique one-of-a kind furniture in every room.

Buses going downtown stop right at our doorstep! But hey, why take the bus when you can walk to Golden Gate Park, Nopa/Divisadero corridor, Haight Ashbury and more! Seriously, I moved here because this neighborhood rocks!

  • My family had a great stay in Margo's beautiful apartment. The apartment was perfect for two adult couples; there was plenty of space for eating and lounging, and both beds were very comfortable. It was a great base for exploring the naturey side of the city, including Golden Gate Park and the beaches and trails along its northwest edge. It was close to some great dining options, too, so a delicious meal was never hard to find! Margo was an excellent host, and responded immediately whenever I contacted her. Thanks for the wonderful stay, Margo!

  • Margo was a very communicative and kind host. She made it a very easy process and was flexible about our check-in time.

Her apartment is incredibly spacious with a large eat-in kitchen, in a central location, and, because it's a corner unit, has wonderful light throughout the day—something you don't always find in SF.

    I highly recommend staying here!

  • Margo's place was perfect! She accommodated us a bit last minute, which was so appreciated. Immediately upon walking in, the place had such a comfortable, cozy vibe to it. The place was super clean and felt so welcoming. The rooftop deck was very nice to go up and check out the skyline from. The place was in a perfect location, right in the middle of town. We were about a 15 minute drive to Pier 39 for our day trip to Alcatraz. We walked across Panhandle Park a couple times to go visit the Haight area for some great meals, and some very entertaining nightlife. The walk there was entertaining in and of itself. We were a group of friends meeting up from out of town, and had originally decided to rent a house with the idea of being able to make breakfast or dinner together one day before going out. Once in the neighborhood, however, we quickly realized that was silly. You go to SF to eat. And there were tons of great choices close by. It was really perfect. All in all, we loved it. And she was very accommodating and attentive to us. Thank you for everything Margo!
