Location could not be better. Neighborhood is full of great shops and restaurants. Apartment is clean, unique and spacious. Furnishings tasteful and interesting. Host is rigid about late check-in and rubbish removal -- read the house rules before booking. Exterior lock to building does not work well -- even host had trouble working it. Recommend buying tickets to Picasso Museum and La Sagrada Familia in advance.
Luciana's apartment was an excellent for our four day stay in Barcelona. The apartment was clean and had all the accessories one needs to cook in or conveniently located to eat out. We never got a chance to meet Luciana but she was very helpful and easy to communicate with before our arrival and during our stay. I would definitely recommend her place to friends.
Location location location! This apartment was in the best area in Barcelona! We loved Born and Les Ramblas and Barceloneta Beach were within walking distance so it was prefect for us. Luciana was a great host we couldn't get an early train so we arrived at 10pm and she had her friend meet us to check us in that late (at a fee) which I knew as she advertised this but we were grateful to be able to check in so late. The apartment was clean - a little noisy but we expected that for such a great area. It was warm so a fan would have been good. The bed was a little hard but have found that in Europe so all in all a great stay. Check out a bar just around the corner called Número Neuve! Great food and cocktails! We made many friends there. This apartment is a great base for your trip to Barcelona.
We had a lovely time staying in Luciana's apartment in Barcelona! It is clean, spacious, and incredibly well-located (right on one of the main streets in the Born district). Despite the close proximity to all the shops, bars and restaurants, we could barely hear anything from inside the apartment and slept like logs! Luciana was incredibly accommodating and provided fantastic instructions on how to get from the airport to the apartment, and made sure that we were met on time to get the keys (even though our flight was delayed). In short, a great host and a great apartment, warmly recommended!
We had a wonderful time in Barcelona.
The apartment is quite spacious, with good cooking facilities, although a little dark and there are a few issues with the tiling being loose in some sections of the floor.
The location of the apartment is in the heart of the old section of Barcelona which is wonderful, with restaurants downstairs and lining the surrounding streets and only a few minutes walk to the Picasso Museum and a great Flamenco location. The down side of this is that it is quite noisy until late into the evening but if you are happy to stay up late every night that would not be a problem.
This is a fantastic space, we really enjoyed staying here. The location is perfect with easy access to the Metro, train station and tram but equally walkable to many of the shops and Las Ramblas. There was plenty of cool bars and restaurants on our doorstep. It is perfect.
Luciana was very communicative and accommodating, and she very kindly booked us a taxi as we had an early flight back. We would definitely stay again.
This was a great place to stay and anytime I have a chance I will stay with Luciana again! Definitely recommend for anybody staying in Barcelona as this place is perfect walking distance for anything you want to do. Also, Luciana is very kind, as she was readily available when we were late due to our flight. Highly recommend for everybody!
Host is not friendly. When I called for help, she accused me of being drunk and refused to help. Worst experience ever!!! DO NOT RENT FROM LUCIANA
Apartment is has a roach problem, no sunlight, poor lighting, poor ventilation. Floor tiles are broken and covered up by rugs.
Spacious apartment. Good location.
Awful!!! I do not recommend renting any apartment from luciana
