Newly built, secure, clean, quiet and airy area, near Trung Son and Phu My Hung District 1, 4,5,7 and closed to many international school.

Experience a Vietnamese homestay with my family.
We live in a typical Vietnamese house, in a typical family neighborhood, on a typical pedestrian street.

Our newly built house has five floors. We rent two private rooms. Each room offers a comfortable queen size bed, a private bathroom, air-conditionning, fan, tv, wifi, large window and glass door to let in natural light (with good curtains if you wish to be in the dark!), and a small balcony overlooking streetlife. Each room can accomodate 2 persons.

You are welcome to use our kitchen or whatever facility our house offers. Many of our previous guests really enjoyed the 360 view offered from our roof top terrace at sunrise, sundown, or to see the city lights in the evening.

We live in district 8, just on the other side of the bridge that brings you in district 1 where most tourists attractions are and in district 5, Cholon, the famous Chinese neighborhood, and district 4 along the river going to Saigon river opposite district 1. From another the bridge reach Phu My Hung distric 7 such as new city with restaurant and shopping small exhibition event. we are living on the island.

During the day, you can take bus 152 and in less than 10 minutes, it will drop you at the Ben Thanh market or directly at the Ben Thanh bus station, near the Reunification Palace or the War museum,... from there you can walk any where in district 1. If you keep going on that same bus, you can even reach the airport in about 50 minutes just cost 5000 vnd ( 25 cents )

It is also possible to walk over the bridge for about 1,5 km and catch bus number 1 at any time. It can bring you downtown quickly to Le Loi street near the Opera, the famous hotels, major shopping streets or going the other way, to the famous market in Cholon and the Cholon bus station. Bus number 1 from 6am to 8 :30 pm Saigon Cho Lon ( downtown to China town )

District 8 is a living district. Tourists are a rare sight. On the way to my house you will be on typical commercial street with lots of traffic, restaurants, streetfood ... You will then turn on a typical small alley that will lead you to my house. That type of pedestrian alleys form mazes between major streets in HCMC. Most people live in those mazes of alleys and you will be living on one!

Much quieter then the major streets, no cars can enter! The sound of traffic from major streets becomes distant and you can now hear the sound of people living, talking, playing. Of course, the occasionnal moto has to make its way to the major street.

You will see people walking, kids playing in front of their house, families watching tv in their living room, families with little stalls in front of their house, or a little store in their living room...

A few meters from my house, you can have nice Vietnamese coffee. Within a few minutes, you will find a nice local typical market with food stalls, clothings, food market, grocery shopping...

We want your homestay at our house to be Home Away from Home for all travellers: solo, couples and families.

If this is the type of travelling you might enjoy, do not hesitate to write to me. Each room is 17$/night for 1 person and 22$ for 2.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Host was friendly and her family were nice.
The house was very modern and clean and in a good area for eating very cheap street food. We did not see any other tourists in the area during our stay.
Although the house is very close to a main road and a local market, it's position down a small alleyway managed to keep it quite quiet. All the families I met down the alley were very helpful and friendly. It felt like a very safe place.

  • It's a perfect place to discover how locals live! Pham and her family are very friendly and welcoming! Pham was extremely nice and showed me some amazing places to eat and drink! If in doubt ask her about the tours/trips/shops/restaurants/clubs and she will know the best ones.

  • She is the best host! Her family and she is so kindness, and I felt that I could be a member of her family.
Vietnam food that I ate at lunch in her house was soooo delicious:)
And I have never forgotten that her father took me the local bar and we drank many beer that it called "333"(local beer)!!!
She is very cute and she recommended me good places.
The location of her house is so good, so I had experience local life, such as going to the morning market, Vietnam's coffee shop, and eating the "Vinmee" that it is Vietnam's the famous bread.

And her house is close to the center of the city, so I could go the city by bus in the daytime and I could go home by taxi in the evening.
If you want to have an experience the local life, I highly recommend her house at first!

  • Pham and her family are very nice and welcoming. We arrived on Valentines Day and went out with Pham to a bar which was lovely. She provided us with a city map and had plenty of useful recommendations. The house is very clean and modern with a spacious room and a private balcony.

  • It was a very nice staying with Lihn and her family. She helped us a lot during our time in HCMC. it's easy to get to downtown and quiet at night time for sleeping. There is one warning for tall people that you need to watch your head when you climbing up. ;-p We will definitely stay with them again if we go to HCMC.

  • Had an amazing stay! Pham and her family are wonderful hosts! When we first got in her family gave us a delicious lunch that we shared with them! Later She helped show us around her neighbourhood, gave us a map, took us to get good at her local market. The room was beautiful and clean (looks like the pictures) with a great view of Saigons many stunning rooftops. Highly Recommend!!!!!

  • We spend our first night in Airbnb with Pham and her family in Ho Chi Minh during Vietnamese NY and it was a great first experience! Before we came we changed our plans more than once, but nothing was ever a problem for her.

The house is nice and spacious and located in a nice area outside of the touristic zone so it's nice, quiet and a real VIetnamese experience. But you can still get to the center for around 2 USD in taxi or a good half hour walking if you don't mind a little walk.

Right from the beginning we were welcomed with great Vietnamese food, beers, sometimes more than we could handle haha, and always a smile from Pham and her family. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone for a great experience in Hanoi, unless you rather stay in the busy streets of the backpacker area, then this place might be a little too far for you.

Thanks again Pham we wish you all the best!

  • Great place to stay and enjoy Saigon. It's a bit outside of the main tourist areas and because of this get rewarded with more interactions with locals.

Highly recommended as she took us to the market in the morning to advise us on what to eat, helped us greatly with planning the rest of our trip and took us together with her other guests to a local BBQ place for dinner.

Highly recommended place to stay and wished we could have stayed longer.
