Welcome to our beautiful Mongolian yurt nestled in the foothills of Arrábida Natural Park, amidst stunning forests and near the best beaches in Europe. A natural paradise just 45 min south of Lisbon.

Our enchanting traditional Mongolian yurt offers the ultimate blend of eco-friendly living, modern luxury, and timeless tradition.

The space
Our panoramic yurt is hidden amongst fruit trees and grape vines on our off-grid property in Arrábida. It has a temperature-controlled pellet burner and also an AC unit, so better than many houses! You have a fully functioning walk-in shower with hot running water connected to the porch at the front. There is no need to walk across a field like other glamping accommodations.

Inside, there's an open-plan dining and living area with a dedicated workspace. The huge sofa is so comfortable, with adjustable headrests, views of the mountain, and big enough for 2 people to sleep.

Behind the screen is a double bed and a full sized single floor bed, suitable for toddlers as well as adults, which feels like a separate room.

Through another door at the back is a kitchenette with your own sink, fridge, freezer for ice cubes, kettle, microwave, induction hob and dishwasher. You also have your own compost toilet. Again, there is no need to put shoes on and go outside.

To make it more comfortable during the summer, there is also AC. For winter, there's a pellet burner.

Guest access
In addition to the yurt there is a shared pool. You might have the whole place to yourself or there might be people staying in our caravan at the property. We have 2 cats and dog. Our pets are super friendly and will enjoy hanging out with you. The cats may want to come into the yurt, so feel free to put them outside if you're not comfortable.

Other things to note
Being off-grid, we're very proud to say that all the electricity on site is supplied by solar panels! There will be instructions on arrival to how best use this power. But mainly that all power-hungry electrical equipment (such as washing machine, AC, kettle, microwave or air frier) are best to be used during full sun, and not too many at the same time.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE ENSURE TAPS OR SHOWER ARE NOT LEFT ON.

If water is left running overnight then this can completely drain our well water and our batteries.
