Rustic Inner City Homestead: Value!

Bed & Breakfast - Private room · West 18th Street, Little Rock, AR 72202, United States

The Space

In our historic, clean, but not freshly re-modeled home, you will have your own room with lots of windows, a good heater and/or window unit, and a full bathroom down the stairs. Though recently acquired, this lot is being turned into an edible food forest, complete with fruit trees and quite a bit of vegetable gardening.

The bed is now a King Sized Mattress and Box Spring!

Breakfast will be at the time of your choosing and include fresh chicken eggs(from our chickens), bacon(preservative free), and delicious home made sour kraut. Coffee or tea of course!

Nothing fancy here, but basic, affordable, friendly accommodations just two blocks from the infamous Central High School! We are less than 2 miles from the center of downtown, and less than 1 mile from the highway, so you will not be far away from much.

We are two blocks off of a bus line.

Will be happy to host a short stay, open to longer term arrangements.

As I(Kevin) am a commercial balloon pilot, weather permitting, we may be able to arrange a sunrise hot air balloon ride in or around Little Rock during your stay.

If you would like to have dinner with us the night of your arrival, we will include you in our meal plan for an extra 7-10 bucks per person, just let us know in advance if this sounds good. We eat a mostly whole food diet with lots of seasonal vegetables, grains, and sometimes meat.

  • Kevin and Tiffany were great. Room was large and bed comfortable. Breakfast both mornings(though I had to leave early). Kevin has some nice fruit trees/veggies planted outside if you're interested in that(as I am). Good people. Convenient to downtown- quick drive.

  • This was my first Air BnB experience and will not be my last! I arrived at his home very late as I was on the road for 13 hours and traffic was awful. Kevin and Tiffany were so awesome! They stayed up late to greet me and help me get settled in. The room was warm and cozy. The next day Tiffany fixed me a wonderful breakfast and coffee and we talked for nearly an hour. On my way back to TX I'm hoping to use their room again. I'm so VERY pleased! I highly recommend them!

  • Kevin and Tiffany are a fantastic couple. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and Kevin even took me on a hot air balloon ride! Make sure you ask him about the ride if you stay there.

  • Kevin and Tiffany are just flat out good people. They made me feel at home from the second I walked in, which ended up being pretty late in the day, but they were extremely accommodating. Even though it was freezing outside the room was toasty when I got there. Fresh cooked breakfast and Turkish coffee in the morning and great conversations. can't ask for anything more. If your coming through Little Rock don't hesitate to stay with them, it will be worth it.

  • Kevin and Tiffany were very kind and very welcoming. I took the dinner option, which was delicious. Would recommend to those looking for a budget stay in Little Rock.

  • We arrived to Kevin and Tiffany's after a long 13 hour day of driving. They were kind enough to wait up for us and despite the frigid cold, the room was nice and toasty! The room was very comfortable and the house has great character. Before hitting the road again in the morning, Kevin made us an amazing veggie scramble and an even better cup of coffee. Great, spunky hosts, and a nice place to spend the night!

  • Kevin was very accommodating. His place is a quick walk to the bus stop and he had some wonderful recommendations about where to go while in Little Rock. Thanks for the Sauerkraut Kevin!

I grew up in Baton Rouge, LA and have traveled all over the country flying my balloon and working in various aspects of landscaping and agriculture before (recently) embarking on this home-fix-up endeavor. I am enjoying growing a good portion of my own food, living with Tiffany, and improving my two old houses and their grounds. I enjoy eating well and learning about what other people are up to! I have a very nice dog who lives outside.
