Welcome to your home away from home!
Located in a beautiful, historic Brooklyn Brownstone, your private apartment is a perfect and affordable getaway alternative to the expensive and impersonal Manhattan hotels.
A true one bedroom apartment with a king sized bedroom and lots of closet space, you also have a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and kitchen basics and a living room with a convertible sofa bed should you need to sleep 4. We also have wifi access in the apartment as well as the backyard should you need it.
We are within walking distance to the supermarket, cafés and restaurants and near the G, and J/M/Z Subway stops and the B38, B15 and B43 bus stops. An easy 30 minutes takes you right to the heart of Times Square.
Whether you are a small family, a couple or a group of friends, this is a safe, bustling neighborhood and as you sit in the garden enjoying your afternoon rosé, you won't even believe that you're in New York City.
We ask that you treat our home as you would your own: with respect. Please keep the noise down after 10pm, keep the house tidy and most of all... enjoy yourselves!!!
Bon futur séjour a tous.
It was a nice and comfortable stay. Meryl is a helpful and polite host. Quite district, which will be gentrificated soon but now it is a pure old Brooklyn with churches and groceries on every corner. The place is some sort of far from subway, be ready to enjoy 10-15min walk. Anyway it is easy connected to Manhattan. Thank you!
Meryl and her housemates were very accommodating and my friend and I had no issues at all during our stay. The apartment itself on the ground floor of a Brooklyn brown-stone and you have your own entry. It's just got basic furnishings but it was more than enough for our needs.
Staying in Bedford-Stuyvesant was an eye-opening experience and we felt pretty safe over all but there were a couple of blocks that had a bad vibe. The apartment is in a bit of a subway black hole with all the closest stations being about 15 minutes walk away. That could pose issues if you didn't feel comfortable in the area especially late at night. There's a bus to JFK very close by though.
The place was wonderful! it was very spacious with a large garden that was lovely to relax after a stressful day in the city. i can recommend the place for anyone looking for a quiet and clean place to stay in the area.
We had a great stay at Meryl's place - it was clean and spacious, plenty of room for four adults. The apartment is between two subway stations, both around 15-20 minutes walk (with the G train at Bedford-Nostrand being closer), and around 30 minutes travel into Manhattan, also 20 minutes or so to the new trendy areas of Brooklyn. Reports of the area seemed intimidating before we left, but we encountered no problems and friendly neighbours whilst there. Staying here gives you a taste of real New York, and we would recommend it!
Great place loved it everything we needed. Neighbourhood was an eye opener for us small town folk but great all the same took taxis from train station at night though because we are pussycats.
Recommend to anyone
