  • I went there with three other friends, and the room was really nice and cosy, it is also very clean. The place is also located within a 5mins walk from the train station, and is really easy to get around to the more popular areas in Osaka. There are also lots of Izakaya around if you just want to get a drink and some bites to chill in the evening. Makoto is also really helpful giving us directions on how to get to the places we want to get to and telling us where else we can go etc, the response time for her to get back to us was also really fast. She even offered to help us check for vacancy when we couldn't find a lodging for the next day at a nearby hotel as her place was already booked.
Will recommend this place to anyone who wants to get to the central or popular areas in Osaka with ease, and getting back late isn't a problem either as the place is well lit quiet and a safe neighbourhood.

  • Makoto was a brilliant host for my short stay in Osaka.
She was very helpful in meeting me at the train station and providing details about Osaka.
Her flat is one of the best I have stayed in, modern and spacious but still retaining the more traditional Japanese details.
Even though my stay was very brief, Makoto made sure it was a great one.

  • Makoto was awesome! She met me at Nishikujo Station and showed me back to the apartment. The space was gorgeous not to mention massive lol. It was clean and homey. She was very helpful w/ suggestion on where to go, what to do and how to get around. Also her housemates were absolute sweethearts! My stay of three days in Osaka were the best! Arigatou gozaimashita Makoto-san!!!

  • wow what a great place to stay!!!! the room is light and airy and all of the girls are gorgeous!! they may be shy (so they say themselves) but oh so welcoming. Makoto Miki and Beau actually made us dinner (it may have not be "traditional" but very oishii) which was awesome because we were tired and it was a little late and their friend Matt was great. The area is so close to Osaka station on the loop line that we felt it may have been in town but had all the charm of being in the residential area. If you want to experience a proper Osaka home then you need to stay here. Yes the steps are steep especially for my 6 foot husband but there are plenty of hand holds - so really no problem.. i loved this place and as it was our very first stop in Japan it really gave me such a great feeling about what was to come... thank you so much girls ..... if i come back i will definitely stay again or at least catch up with you - such a joy x

  • Wonderful place to stay in Osaka for my visits to Okayama & Kyoto. Makoto was a great host that promptly met me @ Nishikujo station and to her guest house. She answered any questions I have and really nice meeting Beau and Miki, who both helped me with my questions I have as well. Really nice roof top room to myself. Doing wash and the free shuttle to the onsen was a plus. One train straight to Kansai airport is also a plus from Nishikujo station.
Great place to stay in again in Japan. Shuk Yi

  • We had a wonderful time at the Mog Mog flat. The room is clean, very spacious, and was good enough for me and my 2 friends. During our first day, Makoto was kind enough to fetch us from Nishikujo station to guide us to the house so we won't get lost. She also provided comprehensive instructions on how to "operate the house" so we had zero problems :)

The location is perfect because it is walking distance from Nishikujo station, a lot of eateries, a convenience store, and a discount supermarket. Makoto was even thoughtful enough to provide each of us a hand drawn map of the area.

Overall experience was great and we definitely will book the Mog Mog flat again if we visit Osaka :)
