Nyoman Astana Bungalow has 3 private rooms in 1 location. All 3 rooms are lovely with hot and cold water included.
Each room has fan and a private terrasse over looking into a green tropical garden.
Astana's Bungalow is close to many tourist attractions of Bali including Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, and Ubud Traditional Market. Staying in this area you will get many Rice field views and have access to all the Great Balinese Food.
The house features bedrooms, basic outdoor kitchen, and bathroom. The design of the bungalow is simple yet functional. It is built in a Balinese-style architecture with a nice garden and greenery views for you to enjoy.
The neighbourhood is quiet and the bungalow is nestled in a secluded area far from the crowded traffic in Bali. You will certainly feel the comfort and truly get to experience living the local Balinese lifestyle. Last but not least, Nyoman Astana's Bungalows in Dusun Kalah, is simply a quiet and inexpensive place to stay.
Feel free to message me if you have questions about the bungalow.
Can not recommend this place.
Not very clean, Bad smell in the room, no toilet paper, no towels
There are better places in ubud for much less money.
great homestay and very kind family! just a walk away from Ubud center. thank you!!
We arrived very late at night (like 3am which is extra extra late for Bali), and Made still met us at the gate to let us in. The guesthouse is nestled deep inside a lush garden and the smell of incense and frangipani greeted us every morning, when sat on our little porch counting the butterflies and the birds, drinking Bali coffee and eating a fresh breakfast. She hooked us up with a motorcycle rental and provided us with maps and the like to help us get around. Everyone at the guesthoues was very nice and we felt a warm welcome to this warm island paradise.
Breakfast is great, garden is beautiful, location is ok (far to walk, but good distance for scooter), rooms are dirty, no English speaking persons, no fresh bed sheets, bathroom is horrible, no hot water, sometimes no water at all, cockroach in the room. Would not recommend at all!
Good location, is a nice walk to everything unless you are unprepared for the rain. A little difficult to find at first and when we arrived Adi showed us to our room then disappeared for awhile. Our fan was broken when we got there but after emailing them about it they gave us a standing fan that worked which was great. The room was bigger than expected but wasn't recently cleaned, we wore our shoes inside the entire time and was not clean in the bathroom. Large ants were present in the bedroom and little ants in the bathroom. Bathroom was a little difficult to use but flushes-so that's great. Looks like it used to be a traditional that was renovated to a western style toilet. Breakfast was great; served fresh, delicious and immediately after we came out to the common eating area. WiFi works. Didn't see any rice fields but lots of restaurants to choose from as listed on her description. Recommended for a backpacker.
Very kind hostess, and the typically beautiful Balinese guesthouse with courtyard and garden. Room facilities are a bit old, but it's comfortable. Good location in Ubud too. Recommended!
Made is so nice.
She cooked delicious breakfast every day.
Also, her family is so kind and friendly to me.
Especially, her grandsons are so cute!
I enjoyed my stay in Ubud so much!!
