A uniquely romantic, tropical getaway for you and your special someone. Enjoy a memorable vacation with your own private and secluded pool.
Enjoy the sunshine and cool breezes beside your private pool and swim "au naturel" anytime, day or night - pool light optional! There are two nearby beaches, one on each side of our complex. Sapphire Beach, one of the island's favorite beaches, is a 6-minute walk from the villa and Lindquist Beach, a pristine and exquisite beach is a 2-minute drive away. We’re located minutes from Red Hook, where you can take the ferry to St. John or the British Virgin Islands, and only 9 miles from the airport and downtown Charlotte Amalie where you'll find duty-free shopping for jewelry, cameras, perfume, liquor, and other souvenirs.
Here's what some of the recent guests had to say: "We love having our own private pool and the beaches 5 minutes away. The night time view of St. John from our villa was gorgeous!" And "For a wonderful secluded romantic vacation. This is the place for you."
The villa, part of an intimate 25-villa resort with available concierge services, is completely furnished: full kitchen, living room with dining area, bathroom with indoor,open-air garden shower, and bedroom with king-sized bed. The large outdoor pool deck features bistro table and chairs, gas barbecue grill, and lounges - perfect for watching the gorgeous sunrise or the star-filled sky at night!
Complimentary continental breakfast buffet is included and there's a new, onsite restaurant, run by the former Chef De Partie, Supervisor from the Ritz Hotel Chain, open for lunch and dinner. Nearby in Red Hook and on the East End you’ll find great bars, restaurants, food and gift shopping. You can rent a car at the airport, use the taxi services, or open public ‘safari’ buses to get around.
No passports are needed for travel to/from the U.S. Virgin Islands for U.S. Citizens, only a government-issued photo I.D. is needed, but passports are required for day trips to the British Virgin Islands, be it Jost Van Dyke or swimming with the dolphins in Tortola.
Guests have access to the breakfast room in the lobby area, the onsite washers and dryers, and front desk staff.
Interaction with Guests
I am reachable at any time and have onsite support staff.
There are $1 and $2, open-air 'safari' taxis and front desk staff will call for private taxi vans. Guests can also call for taxis from the villa.
Other Things to Note
The pool will be cleaned on a daily basis and we request that you allow our pool cleaner to enter the villa on his rounds or alert the front desk when you will be going out so the pool can be cleaned then. If you are staying more than 4 nights, we request that you schedule a housekeeping visit so the villa can be cleaned and fresh linens and towels provided. Thank you!
Welcome to My Home!
That’s right – this is my special place in Paradise and, for these few nights, it’s now yours as well!
As such, I ask that you treat the villa and its furnishings with the same care you would your own vacation home. Please do not sit on the furniture in wet, sandy clothing or bathing suits or hang towels or other items over the backs of the chairs and sofas (they're all new!). Please lower the bamboo shades during morning peak sun hours and whenever you leave the villa for the day. It will keep the villa cool. There's no smoking inside the villa but you can smoke on the outdoor deck.
AIR CONDITIONER - The air-conditioning unit is powered on ONLY by turning the 6-hour timer located above the closet in the bathroom past the 1-hour mark. The TIMER and SLEEP functions on the remote are by-passed. The switch for the LR fan is above the sofa and, for the BR fan, on the shelf behind the bed by the closet.
When you’re enjoying the deck and pool, please keep watch over the potted plants. If they look thirsty, please water them with the green watering can. The shower garden plants do well from the rain or the moisture from the shower but, if there’s no rain, a little TLC will be appreciated. **Keep the hanging calabash planter by the outdoor grill filled with sugar and enjoy visits from the State Bird of the Virgin Islands, the yellow-breasted Bananaquit!!! You'll hear them chirping as they approach!
The Cleaning Fee you paid is for the exit cleaning after you check out. If you are staying more than 4 nights, please schedule housekeeping at the front desk so the villa is cleaned and new linens and fresh towels are provided. There is only a $35 charge which you can handle with the front desk personnel at the time you schedule the housekeeping visit. The charge for WiFi for any/all of your devices is $9.99 a day or $25.00 for a week; there are no hourly rates.
Please sign the Guest Book with your comments and date of your stay. If you wish to come back to #116 in the future, let me know, and I’ll get back to you. Most of all ….
Have A Fabulous Time!!!
We cannot say enough about our host, Cheryl & our time in Paradise!! Not only was our home away from home exactly as pictured--light & airy, beautiful and perfectly clean but Cheryl was kind enough to accommodate us after our flight was cancelled, meaning we couldn't get to St Thomas until the following day. We were so bummed! Our vacation would've been shortened, had it not been for her kindness, arranging for date changes. We're already missing the sparkling private pool, the sweet little sugar birds, our resident geckos & the "jungle shower", as I liked to call it. Cheryl gave us all the best tips on where to go, what to do & who to talk to if we needed anything! Not one complaint could be made about our stay at Pavilions & Pools or our host! Looking forward to returning to Paradise next year!! Thanks for EVERYTHING, Cheryl!!
Dale and I were at #116 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and Cheryl made our arrival very special Champagne and a lovely welcoming note awaited us. We walked into a lovely villa, made ready for our stay.
Loved out time at Cheryl's place in St. Thomas! The pictures represent it perfectly - great pool, island decor and well stocked kitchen. Used the outdoor grill on te evenings we felt like cooking, yum! The staff at the complex are all fantastic and very helpful. Quick safari or can ride into town for easy eats and good shopping. You'll be happy you booked!!
Cheryl's place is great. It's nestled between two beautiful beaches with quick, easy access to Red Hook for shopping, dining, and the ferry to St. John. We had an amazing time and the experience exceeded our expectations. It was great to return home and take a dip in your own private pool. Cheryl was a pleasure to work with, answering all our questions along the way.
Everyone on the property is so kind and genuinely helpful.
We will be back for sure!
3rd time at Cheryl's place and it just gets better. No need to hesitate, this is the best possible place to stay in the USVI. Right in between two of the best beaches on the island and a short ride to the St. John ferry and Red Hook. The new restaurant onsite is better than the previous, but with the new Moe's Market in town and the BBQ next to the pool, you don't need to go out. Already thinking about trip #4. Thanks Cheryl!
Cheryl's villa was lovely! This was our first trip to the USVI and Cheryl went above and beyond to ensure that we had a long list of activities whether we felt like spending a whole day out and about or just relaxing by the pool. The location of the complex is great, short walk to sapphire beach and a quick taxi ride into Red Hook. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful as well. The condo was clean and the perfect size for a couple. The bed was extremely comfortable and the outdoor shower was a nice touch. The pool and deck were private and a wonderful little oasis. It was the perfect spot for a quick getaway!
We were greeted warmly by staff at check-in and Cheryl made our arrival seamless and welcoming. The villa is exactly what you expect from the pictures and having the private pool abutting your bedroom and living area was a joy - we spent a lot of time hanging out in the pool when we were not exploring St. Thomas or St. John. And the open-air shower was fantastic! I just wish we could put one in our home!
There were plenty of utensils and kitchenware to make our own meals, but for the most part we ate at restaurants on St. Thomas. Red Hook is only 3 minutes away (so is the ferry to St. John), and it has great fare, whether it is an upscale restaurant or a bar and grill that takes your fancy. We had a great time and this villa is a great place to start each morning - lounging by the pool all day, or exploring the islands. Definitely worth another stay!
