  • Been to Arenal about 8 times. This is the best place I've stayed. Beautiful view, picture perfect cabinas, serene, great breakfast, helpful staff, and hassle-free. Very close to Tabacon thermal springs too. The steak restaurant across the road is great as well.

  • The cabins were beautiful and had a spectacular view of the volcano. The staff was very helpful in lining up tours and activities.

  • We loved Campo Verde's private cabins. The staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast was great and they have a few options, which is nice. In the cabins everything was clean and fresh with good AC and a safe. Geographically, we liked being right between La Fortuna and arenal park. The surrounding area and views are beautiful.

  • Excellente adresse à tout point de vue !

  • Large and very clean rooms. We could see the volcano from our terrace, unfortunately it was cloudy some days. Breakfast was ok (pancake or rice and beans, with fruits and coffee). But generally we felt very comfortable in the hotel. Other guests of the hotel paid less, as they booked directly the hotel (not via Erick at AirBnB).

  • This is a lovely place to stay. Perfect view of the volcano from my cabin.
If you get the chance, choose cabin #7 ;)
The staff at the Campo Verde Hotel were really nice and helpful, special thanks to Oneida for her advices of places to get amazing food and to Maribel for her attention and great service.

  • What a nice place: so quiet and peaceful and all this with a spectacular, perfect view of the vulcano. The staff was outstanding and did the very best to make it a perfekt stay. They help you organise anything you need assistance with. The rooms are clean and the quality of the beds is good.
Don´t miss to go there, we´ll hopefully come back one day.

Erick is a very nice guy, i talked to him on the phone a couple of times. Just to let you know: don´t expect him to be onsite, as he is only promoting the property via airbnb. He is working for gecko adventures, which means that he is doing all the administratives and contacts concerning the booking - so you pay more for the room as he is getting a bonus from Campo Verde for this.

  • We stayed at Hotel Campo Verde for two nights at the end of October. Comfortable accomodations, very friendly staff. The cabins are spacious, clean, and have beautiful views of the volcano. Breakfast is delicious, filling and simple. Wi-Fi is available throughout, but strongest by the front desk. The staff is helpful with booking excursions. We did ziplining with EcoGlide, hiked Cerro Chato, went to the waterfalls, and visited the Tabacon Hot Springs. Many good restaurants in town, but would recommend Soda Vizquez in downtown La Fortuna, and the fried chicken place along the road to the hotel. Would return again to stay here!

  • Erick answered all my questions and gave great suggestions promptly. We loved our stay at Camp Verde and would love to stay again. The staff were all very nice. The one thing about this place that is better than others is the view of the volcano. You don't get a view like this at most of the hotels.
