I live in the apartment and need to feel safe and comfortable, thanks for your understanding.
If you have any issue at all, please let me know, I'm happy to help in any way that I can, as long as you communicate clearly with me.
General rule of thumb: please leave things how you find them.
Basic coffee, tea and breakfast will be available Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 8am-10am. Please let me know if you will not require this offering.
Be sure to turn off all lights and electronics when you’re not using them/in the apartment.
Please keep in mind that this is an old apartment building, respect my neighbors by minding the weight of your footsteps especially in the early mornings or late at night.
New York City requires that we separate our garbage for recycling.
The washer and dryer are in the basement and have recently been “upgraded”. In order to use the machines, you must have the card provided in the envelope on the tray with plates and things that you may use. With the card, you must put either $5, $10, or $20 on it (those are the only bills accepted) in order to use the machines. There are instructions inside the envelope on how to use the machines, and the prices for each different machine and cycle type is listed downstairs, in the laundry room. It’s about $5 for a single load in the washer and dryer.
If the card is lost, and you do not replace it yourself during your stay (it costs $5 to do so) I will request $10 through Airbnb.
I generally don’t like to share my tiny kitchen with other cooks (aside from the toaster or microwave—you’re free to use those—just not at the same time as it will also blow the fuse).
You’re welcome to store food and drinks in the refrigerator, but I ask that anything else, that doesn’t need the cold, is kept in your room. (There isn't much room in the kitchen which was formerly a closet)

I absolutely love the Food & Beverage industry in this city. And I workout early in the mornings so that I can enjoy the various restaurants out there. I can't live without comedy and computers, but I do love me some time when I can just disconnect and enjoy the fresh air out there.
I love to travel but can't afford to for a while.
Most people that know me would say I make a great friend and the perfect host--I know hospitality and even more my city. I'm a Native to NYC with tons of interesting stories to share. Leading and teaching is something I do on a regular basis, but I also love to learn about different cultures and experiences.
