Our Apartment wants to be YOUR Niagara vacation home. Significant benefits over any Hotel stay. Convenient parking, walk to front door, facing parkland. For check-in, Thor Olson (Apt. 28) gives you keys. Check-out by returning keys to Thor.

Once inside the front door you are home. Full kitchen, telephone, Internet, Wi-Fi great 48" television, music and full laundry facilities. All yours with no disturbance.

Warren, your host, wants to help call anytime. Enjoy, your vacation.

The space

Easy access, facing park on the ground floor (no stairs). Your parking spot (#18) is 100 feet down a slope to the front door. Your home is a comfortable, well maintained, secure home with all amenities 48" TV, WiFi, full kitchen, central heat and air and a full laundry. The stereo under the TV includes a library of CD's. Lots of reading material and living spaces to read and work.

If you enjoy quality walking, you will love your new home. The front door faces Walkers Creek. A 15 minute walk through park maintained by St. Catharines to Lake Ontario. Three blocks east is Lock #1 on the Welland Canal (Erie to Ontario) Walk along the canal and look at the ships en route.

The Garden City Beach is at the bottom of Arthur (just east of us). An even better beach is in at the park in Port Dalhousie. This is also the home of Canada's rowing, best seen from Henley Island.

Several immediate strip malls along Lakeshore (ask Airbnb for our food service guide). Excellent shopping at the Fairview Mall. (Five minutes drive south on Grantham til you see the Swiss Chalet.) -- Wallmarts, Costco, Marks, Chapters, Staples, HomeDepot, 3 Banks, LCBO, Food Basics (inexpensive food products) and Restaurants - Kelsey's, Swiss Chalet, Harvey's, Montana's and Perkins Family Rest.

Our guidebook will provide other shops and restaurants that are close by.

Guest access

WiFi is supplied by Bell. The WiFi network is BELL 742 and the password is 6FE661F5DEAE.

The living room and dining facilities are comfortable for entertaining. Your functional kitchen is adjacent to the dining area. You have a large sofa that can easily be used as an additional bed. Adequate sheets that will work for the sofa are available in the laundry cupboard.

The master bedroom, full bathroom and the laundry, with washer and dryer are available. Warren's office (in a second bedroom) and furnace room are not available as part of your stay.

You have a comfortable front porch seating area fro after diner relaxing..

Interaction with guests

You have unlimited telephone facilities for use. Shirley and I welcome calls to (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (Florida) if you have any concerns or you would like additional information.

Helen Denomme (who undertakes to keep the facility pristine) and or Thor Olsen, your host, are happy to provide input.

Apts. 25, 26 and 27 face West looking at the park. Several more apartments are on the second floor with their entrance on the other side of the building. Generally the people in our complex are friendly e.g. say hello to Toni Stocco who lives in Apt. 27 next door.

Other things to note

Coffee and tea are available to the left of the coffee pot. Use the kettle for tea. Two scoops of coffee using a filter from the bottom drawer will make four cups of coffee. Just like you would do in your other house please feel free to use any snacks in the food storage cupboard and anything in the refrigerator/freezer.

Please enjoy Breakfast from provisions on hand. Bread in the freezer, milk, butter, OJ, and Syrup in the fridge. Helen plans on trying to make sure the milk is fresh (but please check and worst case Avondale!). Cereal and condiments in the lower cupboard to the left of the sink. Please use one of the Yoplait/Activa spreads for your cereal.

Our apartment is generally very quiet as we have not been aware of noise from other tenants. We request that you do not smoke in the apartment and we do not allow animals owned by guests. We have no problem with an occasional well trained animal visiting. (Helen has an adorable small dog)

You will observe an array of my food and beverages (fridge, freezer and supply cupboard). You are welcome to use any of these , but they are not included in the price (other than Breakfast) that we set for the rent. So I ask that you make a reasonable estimate of the net cost of anything that you use and leave an envelope with some cash or a check with your perception of the replacement cost.

We came to St Catherine's to visit Niagara Falls. This apartment was ideally located. It was so nice to get away from the frenzy of the resort area immediately around Niagara Falls. St. Catherine's is lovely. The apartment was perfect. Warren was an excellent host. Great communication. Available with info on what to do locally. I would definitely recommend this rental and this host.

We had a lovely time at Warren and Shirley's! It's a special place with lots of charm, great location and friendly neighbors. The apartment was spacious and well maintained. Warren was prompt in communication and very helpful during the planning process. If you don't put this on your list of places to go then you will definitely be missing out! We can't wait to return!

The listing was exactly as described. It is in a very quiet community. Very convenient to both Niagara on the Lake & Niagara Falls. There is a beautiful walking trail that you can access from the apartment grounds. Warren was great to work with. Responded to emails & inquiries quickly. We recommend this apartment and would stay again. If you stay there you must try Diner House 29 in St. Catharine's for breakfast. We also enjoyed watching a ship go through Welland Canal Lock 3.

Everything with the apartment was fantastic, Warren was very good to deal with. Apartment was well situated for a bike riding trip and was very clean with good amenities, just wish we could have had stayed longer as it was very cozy. Also learn some interesting Canadian history in that Warren himself had run for political office in the 1970s, learned this from some interesting match books that were in the apartment from his political campaign very interesting indeed. Thanks!
