The room is part of a small cave hotel nestled in the centre of Cappadocia, in the town of Goreme. The arch room is a traditional style of building in this region. Natural, locally found stones are used for the construction. The thick stones keep the room naturally cool during the hot months of summer and retain the warmth during the cold winter. The room is furnished with a comfortable double bed, a writing table and closet. The bathroom attached to the room has a shower, toilet and washbasin. Towels, a hairdryer and toiletries are complimentary.
The hotel has a friendly and informal atmosphere. It is located in a quiet side street, only a 5 minute walk from the center of town and the bus station, shops and restaurants. You are always welcome to help yourself to a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy the views from our breakfast/reception room or one of the terraces of the hotel.
When you arrive I will be here to welcome you and provide you with all the necessary information on the region, and help you organize any activities that you would like to do. This is the ideal place from where to explore this region full of breathtaking landscapes, decorated Byzantine rock-cut churches and troglodyte dwellings. There are daily tours to the different parts of the region, hot air balloon flights are sunrise and a number of great trekking routes.

The room is clean and perfectly located (near the bus station and all services). The view from the balcony is very nice and the breakfast was good. Erdogan and his co-worker are really nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!
Really enjoyed staying at this hotel! It was close to everything, the host gave great recommendations for tours and transportation. Breakfast was included and a very nice spread. Highly recommended.
Excellent location. A nice small hotel just off the main street in Göreme with a lovely room, friendly and helpful staff, and a nice breakfast included! Erdogan helped us book our sunrise hot air balloon ride and the Green tour, and arranged our pickup and dropoff at Kayseri airport. Highly recommend the Gedik Cave Hotel.
We enjoyed our four nights at Gedik Cave Hotel. The host and staff were very helpful and friendly. The room on the top level had a lovely view, private terrace and was very quiet and private. The only draw-back of the cave room was that it had no windows and zero circulation, making the room quite stuffy. But the room was very comfortable otherwise - nice jet tub and shower, and large room with fridge and fan. The breakfast was generous and we appreciated the cooked-to-order eggs.
We really enjoyed our stay at Gedik hotel, the room and terraces are very nice, clean and comfortable, it is very well located, and Edrogan is an excellent host, always ready to help! We definitely recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Goreme.
Erdogan was a great host. The room was exactly as advertised. Erdogan was very helpful for me in suggesting activities in Cappadocia, and he went out of his way to help me book a hot air balloon trip. Would gladly stay again.

For the past 15 years I have been living and working in Cappadocia, Turkey. I love nature and trekking which is what first brought me to this part of Turkey. I run my own small hotel in Goreme town situated within the Goreme National park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The valleys surrounding Goreme are incredible and contain some great hiking opportunities. I love to share my knowledge of the area - gained after being a trekking guide and tourism pro for more than a decade - with all who pass through this unique region. Its great top meet people from all parts of the world and help them discover one of my favorite places in Turkey.
I hope you will think of my hotel as your home, where you will feel comfortable and relaxed. Come and have a cup of tea or coffee and a chat when ever you feel like it.
