Location! Rare: have the luxury to be able to walk everywhere in central Atlanta.
Experience the southern atmosphere, green, lovely and central neighborhood. Charming apartment, great balcony, be in Peachtree st. or Piedmont park in 5 min walking.
Very nice apartment in the heart of thrilling Midtown.
1 bedroom apartment in a CHARMING and QUIET historic building, wood floor, nice large balcony with a view on the Bank of America building (Atlanta's landmark, the tallest building in the SouthEast of the USA), and on a huge oak. It is in the heart of the city, but still in a peaceful and quiet environment.
Sleeping is very comfortable: 1 bedroom with a one year old mattress from Ikea. In the living-room, the couch can open and be transformed in a comfortable bed: it welcomes two extra people. You will have clean and fresh sheets and towels, just like in a hotel.
The best CENTRAL neighborhood in Atlanta. Perfect location.

I am very flexible. I give them the key when they arrive. And I disappear, they have their own life.
Of course, if they need anything, I am in the same neighborhood, so I can be there in 5 min if they need me.
My neighborhood is residential and central in the same time. It is a luxury in Atlanta. Check online: the best neighborhood in town: it is very calm... and the best bars/restaurants/parties are 15 min walking.
And Piedmont park: the nicest in town, the heart of the city.
Easy from the airport with a direct train (Marta metro system). Metro station is inside the airport. My stop is Midtown Station. My place is 10 min walking from the station.

Nicolas was a wonderful host and very flexible about our departure time. The apartment is in the best part of Midtown, which is the best part of Atlanta. Nicolas communicated with us well, and even provided directions to the Marta and to his house on the way in to town from the airport. The porch in the apartment has a New Orleans feel, and the rest of the apartment is clean and well decorated.
We would stay at Nicolas' place anytime we return to Atlanta, and will definitely tell our friends about him.
Nicolas was a great host, he was very accommodating. The apartment was well taken care of and very clean. He helped us figure out how to get to our conference which was north of downtown and guided us to dinner out options. We spent a lovely evening getting to know him over dinner. The apartment is in the heart of midtown and a great location. I would definitely stay there again
This apartment is in a perfect location in Atlanta! We really appreciated being able to walk to great restaurants, a cafe, and Piedmont Park. Also, it's proximity to big attractions like the aquarium and children's museum made this place a good choice for our little family. Thanks Nicolas!
We had a great time with 3 persons in this indvidually styled, quiet, spacious, comfy, appartment in an oldfashioned building. The area of midtown is extermely nice as if Nicolas himself. We were very well connected to him during time of boocking, arrival, living and leaving. It was a pleasure to meet and get familiar with him.
Thank you for the very nice review. It was a real pleasure for me too to meet the three of you. Thanks again for the very nice breakfast you prepare for me during the check-out, and for the book on Hamburg you offered to me. If I visit, I promise I'll contact you.
As you liked your stay and trip in Atlanta, I hope you will come back and visit again.
Nicolas's flat is very charming, and we felt at home right away. It's centrally located in a friendly neighborhood, with lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Nicolas himself was easy to communicate with and offered lots of help and advice. It's a great place.
I had a very nice stay here. Ideal for one person or a couple. As another reviewer mentioned, the building could use some facilities upgrades. While I was there, they were working on the pipes which meant for several days we didn't have reliable access to water. Quiet neighborhood, great for running, walking or whatever. Nicholas was a great host-he kept in touch with me the whole time to make sure we were doing ok given the ongoing maintenance.
Thanks for the nice review, i am happy you like the apartment and had a great stay. And sorry for the problem with the water the during your stay. As I said to the previous renter, and as you know, Atlanta has been exceptionally paralysed by the ice one week before your arrival, and some pipes have been damaged. They fixed it, but it didn't work. They had to come back. But everything is now back to normal.
My girlfriend and I had a lovely Valentine's Day weekend at Nicolas' apartment. Due to the snow the week before, the water was not working for one evening. When we were without water, Nicolas was very helpful -- he gave us the choice of staying in a hotel that he offered to pay for or staying the night for free while the water was out. He also brought us a few gallons of water. The apartment is very beautifully decorated. We had a great experience, not only because the apartment is comfortable, but also because Nicolas is a kind and helpful host. We highly recommend staying here!
Nicolas was a terrific, friendly, easy-going host. Communication was very easy and efficient, and he was totally available and prompt in answering any questions I had. His place was very clean, tidy and welcoming. He even left out some chocolate and teas, etc. for me to use – a really nice and generous extra detail. I appreciated his commitment to “green living”, evident in recycling efforts, organic food products, etc. Décor and atmosphere are as in the photos: French-Ikea-eclectic, which works (combination of Matisse prints and genuine Haitian paintings, modern Ikea furniture and old faded velvet chairs, natural dried flowers in pretty old bottles…), with bachelor-student-intellectual touches (a few old metal model cars, lots of great literature and films…) The porch is also quite comfortable and I enjoyed some nice time out there (before the storm hit!).
The neighborhood was very central and convenient, close to many cultural attractions, restaurants, etc., just as he describes. I was able to walk everywhere.
One thing to note, which is totally beyond Nicolas’ control, is that the house and apartment themselves are indeed quite old, with very slanting floors, etc. Depending on your taste, these idiosyncrasies could either disturb or add to the charm. One aspect I found a bit unpleasant was that the water pipes are so old that the water sometimes came out rusty (got clearer when you let it run) and the water pressure seemed dependent on water use in the rest of house, sometimes being quite weak.
All in all I was quite satisfied with the arrangement and extremely happy with the host, who did everything possible to make my stay pleasant and convenient. Thank you, Nicolas!
Like I said to Patrick, who stayed just after you, you were at my place during these two exceptional ice storms we had early february, paralyzing the entire city, as the news showed it. Some pipes iced and had to be replaced, and it explains the problem. Everything is now fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Nick is very easy to coordinate with. Apartment is full of charm and great art!
Location is wonderful and minutes away from anything you could want in Atlanta.
Thanks for the easy stay!
Loved Nic's place, perfect location for me. He was a very attentive host, I especially enjoyed his little balcony. The unit is old, but quaint, and Nic keeps it spotless. He doesn't have a tv, but I rather enjoyed that, I brought a good book for the down times. Will definitely stay here again if it is available on my next Atlanta.
