A beautifully refurbished, stunning ground floor studio flat in a Grade 2* listed original Coachhouse building within the curtilage of a Grade 1 listed property. This charming and spacious apartment is located on the edge of a sleepy hamlet, 10 minutes from Stratford Upon Avon within a 10 minute access to Waitrose and other local amenities such as Talton Mill Farm Shop plus Shipston-on-Stour, the pretty little market town comprising a number of boutique style shops

The space

An original Georgian Stable Block, the Coach House Apartment comprises an airy open space with its own private entrance, that being a stable door within an original Archway. While it only sleeps 2, it is spacious and light and particular attention to detail will ensure your stay is uber comfortable. Breakfast consists of a choice of home-made granola and yoghurt, freshly laid eggs off the Farm, bacon and fresh fruit. All the basic essentials are supplied to include fresh bread and butter, homemade jams and apple juice, milk, tea and fresh coffee etc. The bathroom and bedroom are equipped with exclusive toiletries and linen from top end brands to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. Fresh flowers and seasonal produce from the kitchen garden will greet you on arrival and be replaced as necessary according to the length of your stay.

Guest access

Guests will have access to the private drive and their own parking. They may also have agreed access to the tennis court, swimming pool and private gardens by prior arrangement once we have met our guests and feel comfortable that they will respect these additional privileges. The Gardens are open to the Public at various points through the Summer months and are a point of local interest

Interaction with guests

I like to leave my guests to enjoy the privacy of this space but am always on hand if needed. I would obviously meet and greet and in my absence, would ensure that I have a suitable replacement to do the same. We will show them round the apartment, ensuring they are happily settled and understand the workings of the place plus answer any questions on the area. Once we can establish the purpose of their trip we will happily run through the list of local hot spots and places to visit and offer our help wherever needed to those who are unfamiliar with the surroundings.

Other things to note

Admington Hall itself is of national historic interest and can be found in the Domesday Book. It is a mixture of Grade 1 and Grade 2* listed buildings and comprises four periods of Architecture dating from mid 16th Century, both early and late Georgian additions to modern day. It is steeped in history as is the Coach House and there will be a brief resume of the history of the house and its surroundings amongst other leaflets of local interest on offer to our guests.

I expect my guests to appreciate the efforts we go to in order to ensure the memorably comfortable stay we very much hope you will have. We try and err on the side of generosity as regards the extras we provide and I request that you take what you want and leave the remainder. And please leave all receptacles in place as these are not included in the package. As regards privacy, you are within the curtilage of our own home and while the apartment is entirely separate to the Main House, we would expect you to appreciate the peace and tranquility of your surroundings.

We LOVE this place. It was our second 2-week stay here and, once again, we were not disappointed. It is a beautiful private flat on beautiful grounds. Antonia is the best host ever. She & her staff really know how to make you feel welcome. Fresh flowers from her beautiful gardens, fresh goodies (milk, eggs, granola, cookies, apple juice) which are home-made or from the farm. It is so serene. We love it so much that we check the availability here before booking our trips back to visit family in England. (We live in New York). Perhaps I've said too much. Wouldn't like to think it won't be available for us in the future due to popularity!! Thank you Antonia.

Cool little apartment in a big manor-like complex with gardens, horses, etc. The space is very nice and the host was very welcoming. Nearby are cool towns to drive to.

The pictures for this place do not do it (URL HIDDEN) was amazing. The small touches of fresh flowers, fresh bread, fresh eggs, jams, butter, bacon and freshly squeezed apple juice make this place extra special. The drive from London to this country side was a little nerve-racking but once we arrived and settled into the Coachhouse we soon begin to relax thanks to our surroundings. The short drives to other towns are fun and scenic. We recommend the Howard arms pub to get a bite to eat and a few cocktails if need be. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who wants to relax in the countryside for a bit.

Antonia's cottage is the perfect location to explore and enjoy the breathtaking Cotswolds. The cottage was incredibly clean and decorated to make you feel at home. Upon our arrival we had a great opportunity to say hi to the resident horses in the stables behind the cottage. Antonia suggested and made us a reservation at the Howard Arms just down the road for dinner where we enjoyed a delicious and quaint dinner. In the morning we enjoyed a beautiful 5 mile run in the local area and cooked breakfast with the farm eggs Antonia left for us. Our only regret is that we did not originally plan to stay longer than one night.

The carriage house was so peaceful and quiet. It's nestled into the small village of Admington near the Cotswolds. It's a perfect location for seeing this beautiful countryside. Antonia is the perfect hostess. She has fresh flowers throughout the apartment and leaves you fresh eggs, milk, jams, apple juice and bread. It was a such a delightful place to spend a few nights. I was born and brought up in Somerset where I developed my love for the countryside and all that goes with it. I moved to London after leaving school where I worked in Interior Design and Millinery before then moving to Warwickshire with my husband and four children as we wanted our children to enjoy the country upbringing that we both benefitted from ourselves. We love our animals, horses and dogs. We enjoy gardening, cooking, theatre and music and we make the most of our close proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon with all the theatre and culture that it offers.
