Our beautifully designed three bedroom townhouse is colorful and immaculately clean. We are centrally located on a quite street, one minute away from the railroad station & walking distance to downtown. Enjoy a gourmet kitchen, pool and spa!
This is the spare bedroom in our new townhouse in the heart of Silicon Valley.
THE House: A quiet 3 bedroom in the Whisman station. The room has a scandinavian designs sofa bed (firm mattress) and some other basic furnishings, along with a closet.
Our family lives in the house. We are an international family, I am from the Middle East, my husband is European and we speak French, Spanish and Farsi in the house. We also have a 3 year old daughter who loves guests. We would welcome families with children as well.
You would have your private bathroom during your stay, and will be provided with fresh sheets and towels.
There is a full kitchen with a large refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, tea kettle, coffee machine, toaster, rice cooker and crockpot. I also have lots of pots and pans that you can use. Feel free to cook in the apartment. There's also a large living room with a couple of comfy couches you are free to use as well.
The wireless internet is fast and free. There's also a washer and dryer in the garage.
THE LOCATION: The apartment is 25 minute walk from downtown Mountain View/Castro street with numerous bars and restaurants. You can also take the light rail around (only a 2 minute walk from our house)> You can take the Caltrain to the other parts of Silicon Valley, including Palo Alto/Stanford, or take it all the way to San Francisco.
I have no dogs, cats, or pets of any kind. There are no pets allowed or smoking in the building. Thanks for understanding!
Sometimes we rent our entire unit when we are out of town. This presents two additional bedrooms, (one master bedroom) and one toddler bedroom. (pictures to arrive soon)
Please contact me via message before booking, thanks!
Layla and Antoine's house is super clean. They are very nice and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay there a lot.
Layla + Antoine were awesome hosts. They're both very smart and their daughter is a cool little girl who is going to be quad-lingual! Their home was 3 minutes away from where I needed to be so it was quite convenient. I had a great conversation with Antoine about technology and his work - I learned a lot from him in the short time I was in town. Their home was clean, very welcoming, and they made a nice breakfast for me. Oh and ask them if they have Organo Gold Latte - that's some good stuff!
Layla and Antoine's house is beautiful and spotlessly clean. My favorite part was that it was just one block from the Light Rail Station, so I could leave my car behind and explore the area. The hosts were warm and accommodating, especially for a last minute reservation. It was a great stay!
Layla and Antoine were delightful hosts. We enjoyed the conversation over an impromptu glass of wine and felt very welcome in their beautiful home. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable with the only issue being that it was too small my very tall husband (an issue we run into often). Otherwise a very enjoyable stay!
Layla and Antoine were super hospitable, generous hosts. I had my own bathroom and the place was always sparkly clean! Convenient walk to the Whisman light rail station and a very pretty, quiet neighborhood. Very glad to have met the family!
The reservation was canceled 10 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Conveniently located near the Whisman Light Rail Station. Pleasant room with unobtrusive but friendly hosts.
The Sabourian home was lovely-- very clean, comfortable, and quiet-- a great place to sleep for a last minute, weekday business trip. I was very happy. The light rail is very close, making for an easy trip in and out. A TIP: For young single entrepreneur types like me who tend to be more free-form travelers, I'd suggest thinking about your schedule a bit ahead of time and planning out when you'll be coming and going a bit before you arrive. It is an active family household so, understandably, communicating my schedule was a little more important than at other places I've stayed. That was fine with me and I worked around it by staying downtown at a coffee shop downtown between activities. On the whole, highly recommended.
The room and bathroom were nice and well furnished (and I had the bathroom all to myself!). Layla, Antoine and Delarai were very accomodating and treated me like part of the family. They know the Silicon Valley well and are always ready to provide recommendations. The location is great, close to everything and very safe. Fully recommended.
