Built in 1925, 'Palm Retreat House' has a style all its own. The home provides a comfortable layout for 2 to six persons, and the location is extremely convenient to all area beaches and local attractions.
There is a formal dining room between the living room and kitchen.
The large kitchen is stocked with a wide variety of utensils, dishware, and cookware. There is seating in the kitchen for casual dining.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a private "ensuite" bathroom with tub/shower, toilet and sink. There is a large walk-in closet for storage.
The south bedroom has a queen size bed.
The west bedroom has a twin bed, and an inflatable twin mattress is also available.
A full bathroom with tub/shower, toilet and sink is located in the hallway between the dining room and kitchen.
If you need an additional bedroom or two, the Coral Cottage property is at the back of the property (separated by a privacy fence). Please inquire about availability.
The back yard has table and chairs for outside dining.

The Palm Retreat House is a complete home vacation rental. It includes the home, front covered patio, back yard, and paved driveway for one or two cars.
Most of our guests are very considerate of our efforts to maintain a comfortable home, and to ensure the respect of our neighbors. However, there are a few experiences that have led to describing detailed "house rules" so there are no misunderstandings:
Check in is after 3 p.m. Check out is before 10 a.m.
Persons under the age of 25 years are not permitted to rent this property without special approval, (proof of age may be required).
No Smoking inside the home. This includes the odor of smoke. Be mindful of open doors or windows that would permit the smoke to enter the house.
House linens are not to be taken from the home or used for cleaning. Some Beach towels and cleaning rags are provided
No disturbances. Noise volume is to be kept low after dark. Activities contrary to any law, ordinance, fire department or insurance requirement are not permitted on the premises.
Events/Parties are not permitted. The home is for the enjoyment and use by the registered guests only.
Parking is in the driveway for cars & small trucks only. Please do not block the sidewalk. No trailers, large trucks/vans, U-Hauls, campers, RV’s, etc. Parking limit is 2 vehicles.
Your hosts, Melody and Bruce, live across the street and are accessible when needed.
Melody and I have been here in Clearwater since 2003. We own a software company specializing in digital dictation and transcription solutions. Our "hobby" has been renovating old homes here in the Magnolia Park neighborhood of Clearwater. We have 6 vacation rental properties that we manage ourselves.
One of our daughters and her family live 2 doors down from us, with 3 grandchildren that keep us hopping. We love the location - close to downtown Clearwater, yet just a short ride to the beautiful beaches of Clearwater, Indian Rocks and Dunedin (Caladesi Island and Honeymoon Island).
We love to bicycle, boat, swim, and enjoy fun times with our family and friends! We hope you can make it to our special part of the Gulf Coast that we call home...
