  • It is going to be difficult to keep this review simple because our trip was simply fantastic. We arrived in France and headed to meet Celine. What a lovely lady. She was waiting for us and showed us around her home and made sure that we understood we were to make ourselves at home. Celine had stocked the fridge and cupboards as well as having some lovely olives and wine waiting for us. She had also thoughtfully left a gift for my wife as this trip was a surprise treat for her. Celine's home was perfect for us. There was everything we needed and more. Incredibly accommodating, clean and with everything we needed. Celine could not have been a better host, she was lovely. Coursan was a perfect base for discovering this beautiful region of France. Celine even sent us a mountain of local information for places to visit so we could plan our trip before we arrived and make the most of our time there.

If you stay here do not miss Narbonee & Carcassonne. The medieval city of Carcassone was one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited and the fact that Robin Hood Prince of Thieves was filmed in the castle grounds (my wife has a Kevin Costner thing going on!) made it very exciting. We also toured some of the ancient Cather castles that dominate some of the landscapes in the region and for two fans of history this was fantastic. Narbonne Plage and its beautifully clean beach was a beautiful place to visit, great paddling in the Mediterranean while looking at the snowy Pyrenees across the sea! Three days was not enough and we will definitely be back. If you are considering visiting this region of France you would be mad not to stay in Celine's home, perfect host (in fact better than perfect!).

  • We got to Celine's place and were received with croissants, cakes and tea beautifully arranged with a personalised welcoming card.
The house was very very nice, spotless and well equipped.
Celine was very kind and helpful - she had a whole folder with touristic information about the area.
We also really enjoyed the village of Coursan, even though it is not a touristic attraction.

We were completely blown away by this experience - it was so much better than we could even imagine. We would have stayed longer if it wasn't for our tight schedule.

  • This was the perfect stay for my needs on this occasion, a two night lay-over en route to Toulouse. An easy two-turn route from the Gare de Narbonne takes barely 10 minutes by car, although I took a more circuitous route by the sea side and arrived later than I should have. Céline had waited far beyond the call of duty and had positioned her own car so as to maintain a parking spot for me. The apartment was super clean and all the usual shops and neighborhood markets were within walking distance. An easy few minutes back to the train station. I would gladly recommend Céline and her digs to anybody with similar needs.
