  • Our second time visiting Lareau Farm Inn- first during warm weather...what a fun popular spot in the summer time! We loved the art exhibit in the barn, enjoyed the river on our hot and humid afternoon, and although Lisabeth had just hosted a wedding the night before at the Inn, the space maintained its relaxed atmosphere- we even dozed a bit on the back patio. Lisabeth's crew maintains a spotless home and each room had its own AC. Delicious served breakfast using frarm- fresh ingredients and continental breakfasts choices available for those who prefer not to sit for breakfast. Because of our busy schedule, we were in and out this trip, but look forward to many more lazy days at the farm in the future. This farm should be on your must-visit list while in VT!

  • We had a wonderful stay at Lareau Farm. Our room was clean and it was a great location for the wedding we attended. I heard great things about the restaurant but unfortunately didn't have time to eat. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Waitsfield

  • My partner and I spent 2 nights at this wonderful rustic country Bed and Breakfast with our dog. Lisabeth is the most welcoming host and she cooks a fantastic breakfast every morning. The main part of the house is so Vermont! We sat in front of the fire and enjoyed the cozy ambiance. They have great snacks and amazing coffee! We would recommend the place to out of town guests as a true Vermont experience.

  • We had a great stay! So nice to find such a special spot that welcomes our canine kid. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were even a couple of classic toys that our 14 month old loved playing with. We enjoyed watching the Super Bowl in the living room and chatting with some of the other (website hidden) french toast we've ever had. Hope to come back soon and stay longer.

  • What a hidden gem! We were looking for a cabin-ish feel with a fireplace, close to hiking trails and drivable to burlington for dinner. We found more than that here- Lareau Farm Inn is a farm/Inn/American Flatbread restaurant, equipped with seasonal activities like backyard hiking trails, swimmable river in summer months, wood burning stove in the living room, WIFI, large private rooms with bathrooms, and plenty of space to spread out, relax and enjoy the property. The inn is very clean and has lots of country decor without feeling cluttered. Lisabeth knows her way around the kitchen well, and we were served a very filling and delicious two course breakfast each morning- included in the price of our stay. She was warm, friendly and told us all about the history of American Flatbread Pizza Co. and hearing about her family, life and work was so interesting. Dining at Flatbread's is a must! We split a salad, pizza and dessert- everything was so tasty and the beer/wine list was very well chosen. The sausage pizza on their menu is divine!
We visited another favorite restaurant in Burlington the next night, but we could easily eat at Flatbread's any time! Lisabeth even offered us a late check out so we could explore the mountain trail behind the farm on our last day and not be rushed. This (email hidden) inn with far more personality and charm compared to neighboring inns (and there are quite a few in a 15 mile radius). It is ideal for winter sports fanatics and family gatherings. You can tell Lisabeth loves giving her guests an amazing experience at the farm. We are very much looking forward to visiting Lareau Farm in summer months- this is by far the best experience for the price!!

  • Lisabeth (email hidden) (email hidden) in Vermont. We arrived tired and hungry after a long drive, and were pleasantly surprised by the great food at Flatbread, as well as our lovely accommodation at Lareau Farm Inn. Breakfast was wonderful (as many people have already commented), and Lisabeth kindly provided alternative suggestions for our Saturday activities when we had to cancel our snowboarding excursion that morning because of heavy rain. It feels like a home away from home with so many creature comforts (books, tea/coffee, cookies, beautiful views). Fantastic all-around - highly recommended!

  • Our stay at Elisabeth's was about as perfect as it could be. The place is very cozy, warm and clean. The host was always there to answer any questions and was very knowledgeable about the area. The complimentary breakfasts were a great addition to the package. The house had everything to make us feel at home like towels, bathroom supplies, extra blankets. The American flatbread restaurant next door offers delicious food and (email hidden) to relax after a day of skiing/snowboarding. Sugarbush resort is about 10 minutes away by car and there is also a shuttle bus running there a few times an hour. We highly recommended this place! It is a perfect price/quality combination!
