Given that this is Santa Barbara, there is no air conditioning. Similarly, considering the semi-tropical natural setting, no refunds will be given if a bug is discovered. The house is impeccably clean, and fans and natural ant cleaner are provided.
Close the fridge and freezer firmly, otherwise it will beep at you.
Due to the drought, we have switched to a low-flow shower head. Turn the water all the way to the left, and allow it to heat up using the bath spout before engaging the showerhead (otherwise it takes a long time).
Make sure the fridge/freezer is firmly closed.
No smoking indoors.
Do not use fireplace.
Let me know if you need hangers or want to use bikes.
If the fridge beeps at you, close it firmly.
Lock up and turn the lights off when you leave.
Treat our home like you would your own :)
Recycling is next to the stove, trash next to the fridge.
Please let me know if you specifically need any household items (e.g., blender, juicer) so that I can leave them out for your use.
In the event ants come inside (rare, and only when it is really hot) non-toxic ant killer is under the sink.
This bungalow was perfect for our stay in Santa Barbara. Great location, easy parking, very comfortable. If you have allergies you might want to be cautious - I think previous tenants may have been smokers.
Adorable house with a great location--less than 5 minutes from downtown & the beach! We booked VERY last minute and Holly was so helpful, even bumping up our check in time to accommodate our plans. Great space with a very private, very relaxing backyard. We found ourselves wishing we were in town more than 1 night to enjoy it!
We stayed here for one night and it was great! Super friendly and helpful. Easy check in and out. Great price and a good location close enough to downtown but still away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for the bottle of wine!
Holly was very accommodating. We stayed at her home over Christmas and we had everything we needed to cook a full meal. Also Holly let us use her bikes. Our bike ride to the beach and downtown-both near by, was one of our favorite parts of our time spent in Santa Barbara. The house was neat and clean. The listing seems accurate. No complaints.
Holly was a pleasure to deal with and her place was just as advertised. I would definitely stay there again
Holly was very good in communicating with us and her place was just as described on the Airbnb website. We had a very nice getaway experience at her place and the location was awesome! Close to the beach and State st. She also lend us her bike and it was a great experience to stay at her place. I would definitely come here again!
