I am the mom to two seriously sweet boys. I’ve moved around like a gypsy most of my life, but we landed in Austin 12 years ago and appear to be staying. Austin is a great town and one I love to have visitors come to so we can share the fun things there are to do and see as well as the vast amounts of amazing places to eat!
I’ve worked as a hairstylist for more years than I will admit, work with international students & am currently creating Design Remix, an interior design and home organization business. I love to throw a tarp on the living room floor to paint and do collage, but my favorite creative endeavors are home spaces. I adore treasure hunting in antique stores, mixing the old with the new, up-cycling unused finds, and generally not follow any of the rules. I spend way more waking hours thinking about creating than I actually have time for. So I’m dreaming of a day, sitting in my fantasy art room or my front porch, where all the stuff I’ve dreamed up and of will come pouring out. It might be in Africa.
