My spacious room is a perfect base for visiting the marble caves, Cinque Terre, Florence, Portofino, Siena, Genoa, Lucca and Pisa! It comfortably accommodates two people and is in an old house in the historical centre of Carrara, which is a few minutes drive away from Colonnata, where the famous ‘Colonnata lard’ is produced, and from the marble quarry where the marble used by Michelangelo was extracted; it is full of sculpture ateliers, workshops and laboratories.

I reccomend this room with private access and private bathroom. It's as big as a small apartment, without kitchen. It has a wonderful orthopedic mattress and big tables to work if you're an artist or a writer. The place is lovely

Giulia is exactly the type of host I hope for when I use AirBnB. Warm, gracious, and very informative. She was sad that she didn't have the opportunity to take me out, and I thought that it was very nice of her to even want to! She really cares about her guests and says that she …

Giulia was beyond kind and helpful. The room is a lovely studio apartment, completely separate from Giulia's home, which is located upstairs. She has provided every possible comfort, from a few food essentials in the fridge to tea and coffee, cooking implements, spices, and dishe…

We loved our time in Carrara, and wished we could have stayed longer. This space really felt like a home away from home, comfortable, private, and in a great location. Giulia was very welcoming, gave us recommendations, and connected us to a friend of hers that could help us make…
