  • My two night stay as Richard's guest was comfortable & pleasant. Features such as a desk, door hooks, sufficient plug sockets & mirror were very welcome. Richard is a friendly & helpful host. Modern, clean & tidy, his home is super handy for access to the harbour front, town centre & is just a short walk along the waterfront to the RNLI Training College where I enjoyed a delicious value for money lunch & dinner with a view of the harbour. Enjoy your stay!

About
I am a retired civil servant, Poole born and bred, although I have lived and worked away at times. I am divorced and living alone and I am very happy living in Poole because, as well as being my home town, it caters for a wide range of interests and in particular it offers sailing on its magnificent harbour. I am an active member of a local yacht club where I racing in my dingy and crew on other members cruisers. Being of a gregarious nature, I particularly enjoy the social side of club life, . I play in a band with a group of old friends. We range from 'bluegrass' through 'country', 'folk' and a bit of 'rock and roll'. I am an avid listener to the BBC with my default station being Radio 4 closely followed by Radio 3. I also enjoy television but I am rarely at home to watch it.
