The Accommodation is located within an 'owner occupied' modern terraced house in the harbourside development of Baiter Park, in Poole. It is a ground floor Double Bedroom with en-suite shower / WC (totalling 120sq ft). Towels are included, as are duvets, pillows and bed linen. There is also a hair dryer for use of the guests.
It is two minutes level walk from Harbourside Park and ten minutes from the bars, restaurants and shops of Poole Quay, Marina and the historic Old Town.

Within the price, guests are welcome to help themselves to breakfast cereals, bread, butter, marmalade etc and to tea; coffee; sugar and milk. Other food, wine and beer can be used on the basis of compensation or replacement.
The (80sq ft) fitted kitchen is a well equipped with a gas cooker; fridge; microwave and a dishwasher. An electric kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery are also provided. Should you wish to do some serious cooking with your own ingredients, there are plenty of pots and pans, You are welcome to use the herbs spices and condiments from the cupboards.
There is a washer/dryer for laundry plus ironing board and iron available.
At the rear is a private courtyard garden with patio table and chairs. A shed houses a freezer and a folding rotary washing line. There is also a hanging facility with a heater for drying outdoor clothing.
The property is no smoking but pets are accepted by arrangement.
The area is residential and thus quiet. Guests are requested to respect this in their use the property, particularly in their comings and goings and use of the courtyard. Parking Is available
The Bus Station is just a 10minute walk away with frequent services across Poole and Bournemouth or West to Swanage and the Jurassic Coast.
The railway station is 15 minutes walk and connects to London approximately 2 hours away
The Town Centre, 10-minutes walk away, offers a pedestrianized High Street with a Thursday street market. It leads via Falkland Square to the Dolphin Centre, a large two storey undercover shopping mall with all the typical high street stores.
Sainsburys and Aldi Supermarkets are within 5-minutes walk.
Poole Quay is only a flat 10 minute walk away and during the summer months.offers boat trips to Brownsea Island, Bournemouth, Swanage and the Isle of Wight. During the summer there are evening events on the Quay with family entertainment and fireworks.
The Old Town can be explored via its narrow streets and walkways that lead off the Quay. Here you will find small antique shops and museums as well as restaurants and cafes. The area around St James’s Church and Market Street bears witness to Poole’s mercantile past.
The famous Poole Pottery and Purbeck Pottery shops are to be found adjacent to the Quay.
Poole Park and boating lake is a few minutes walk through the pedestrian underpass linking it to Harbourside Park.
The Lighthouse (Poole Arts Centre) complex with it’s cinema, theatre, concert hall, and café, is only a 10-minutes walk, as is the Dolphin Swimming Pool.
Poole’s renowned 'Blue Flag' sandy beaches are less than 4 miles by car, through Poole Park and around the beautiful Poole Harbour. The beaches of Studland can be accessed by the Sandbanks Chain Ferry and for the more adventurous there is a nationally renowned naturist section!
The location also provides a good base for exploring the Purbecks or the New Forest. Cyclists and walkers are very welcome with specialist routes maps available from Tourist Office on Quay.
The environs of Poole and Bournemouth provide a myriad attractions for young and old.
We arrived on a late ferry so we were very thankful that Richard was up and waiting for our arrival. The home is in a quiet area of Poole so we appreciated that. Richard was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and tidy...A good place to stay.
Convenient location, near Poole Harbour, lots of eating places nearby. Small bedroom room with own shower/toilet. No problems using kitchen and living room as well, along with host.
We were very pleased with our stay with Richard. He made us feel at home even before we had got there. The house is very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was a very easy pleasant stroll down to the harbour in the evening where there is a good choice of places to eat.
Host was very friendly, he suggested routes to take in the area and helped with bus schedules etc.
Richard made us feel at home. His house was situated in such a lovely quiet place from where all spots were easily accessible. It took only few minutes to reach the Poole Quay.He gave us so many tips for our trips.He was extremely helpful when we were planning the itinerary and making the booking. Richard has been a great host, very flexible with our arrival time and extended check out, open and friendly and a pleasure to chat with. Richard has given us great tips on the places to visit in the surroundings and indicated us with the help of a map the best way to get there. We were welcome to use the entire flat including the kitchen at any time and Richard has arranged also a brand new cot for our son and been very friendly with our Yorky. Thanks for everything Richard and hopefully see you at our next visit to the best beaches of England !

My two night stay as Richard's guest was comfortable & pleasant. Features such as a desk, door hooks, sufficient plug sockets & mirror were very welcome. Richard is a friendly & helpful host. Modern, clean & tidy, his home is super handy for access to the harbour front, town centre & is just a short walk along the waterfront to the RNLI Training College where I enjoyed a delicious value for money lunch & dinner with a view of the harbour.
