Great place to stay - close to harbour and town centre, local transport etc. Room was clean and well equipped - comfortable bed too! We stayed one night and it was perfect for our needs. Richard was away for the weekend but had left us all the instructions we needed for local amenities and housekeeping, breakfast etc. Very easy stay - no problems at all. Just what we needed for our mini-break.
We had a good one night stay at Richards. We did not meet him because he was away. But acces to the house was good organized and we found everything the way it was advertised.
Everything was as described in the listing, the rooms were beautifully clean and tidy, with plenty of choice of breakfast food in the kitchen. Quiet residential neighbourhood but close to the town and the beach.
Richard made us welcome in his home and we found the accommodation to be satisfactory. He gave us the run of his kitchen to make breakfast for ourselves and provided us with a wealth of local information. The BnB was what we expected from a non-rural location and suited our purposes for a one-night stay. We enjoyed being c;ose to the quayside of Poole with its various attractions that were within walking distance.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Richard, which was my first Airbnb experience. He was very friendly and welcoming and I immediately felt at ease. His house is a few minutes walk to the Harbourside park, I enjoyed walking along by the harbour seeing the lights in the evening. Very comfortable and exactly as described, Richard was very helpful recommending restaurants, pubs, places to go and had plenty of maps and bus timetables to help with planning days out. Thank you Richard I hope to stay again sometime!
Richard was a very welcoming and helpful host and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location was incredibly convenient for the train station, quayside and ferry harbour. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back.

About the Host, Richard
I am a retired civil servant, Poole born and bred, although I have lived and worked away at times. I am divorced and living alone and I am very happy living in Poole because, as well as being my home town, it caters for a wide range of interests and in particular it offers sailing on its magnificent harbour. I am an active member of a local yacht club where I racing in my dingy and crew on other members cruisers. Being of a gregarious nature, I particularly enjoy the social side of club life, .
I play in a band with a group of old friends. We range from 'bluegrass' through 'country', 'folk' and a bit of 'rock and roll'.
I am an avid listener to the BBC with my default station being Radio 4 closely followed by Radio 3. I also enjoy television but I am rarely at home to watch it.
