It was a pleasure to stay a night in Gwendolyn's home. The location was accessible to downtown Charlottesville, private and secluded. I would definitely stay there again.

I had a short and very comfortable stay here. Gwendolyn's home is beautiful and tastefully decorated with a warm and cozy feel. Everything I needed was available, including delicious coffee which Gwendolyn prepared for me in the morning. All communication was prompt. I certainly would like to stay there again and highly recommend it to others! Thank you for your hospitality Gwendolyn!

Gwendolyn's house is iconic of Charlottesville but has been improved to account for weather and comfort. Very efficient and easy to access. Gwendolyn was an outstanding host who went out of her way to make out stay comfortable, even allowing my wife to use her personal jacket when we discovered our clothing was inadequate for the cold weather. She is a connoisseur of tea and is happy to share her passion with others.

After a life of traveling to and living in many places, I chose Charlottesville as my hometown because it is awesome! I now run a restaurant and own a sweet little home in Bellmont with a view of the not so far off mountains. I choose to host for Airbnb because I enjoy meeting people and still being a part of the traveling community. My years of travel and hospitality experience help me to know how to keep my home inviting and comfortable for guests. I spend many of my off work hours reading, hiking, tinkering on the house, or hanging out with friends around town.
