The space
We are excited to offer our beach house in Ocean Beach, San Diego!

Incredibly adorable 1930's cottage, very cozy and inviting. Enjoy morning coffee, grill local seafood, or sip wine while you watch the sunset from the ocean view deck. You will be 50 steps from the sand! Breathe the sea air and listen to the waves crashing day and night. We have increased the size of the ocean view deck, it is larger than the pictures show!

You will have a comfortably furnished living/dining room, full kitchen and bath. There is a flat screen LCD TV and wireless internet service. The kitchen is equipped with full sized appliances, plus a microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. In the bedroom there is a queen bed, with cushy memory foam mattress. The sofa bed in the living room has a mattress which is very comfortable. There is laundry on site, and garage parking for your vehicle. If you have a dog, there is a private dog run next to the house.

Shops, restaurants, and bars are within 3 blocks, including the famous Hodad's for burgers, and South Beach Bar & Grill for fish tacos. A great Farmer's Market happens every Wednesday afternoon. There is a pier for fishing or to stroll along, and a cafe at the end. There is a leash-free dog beach 4 blocks away.

Ocean Beach is a funky little unpretentious town, with colorful locals. This is the perfect spot to experience San Diego without any stress. It is a one of a kind, relaxed, non-touristy community. We are a 10 minute drive from San Diego International Airport and Sea World, 15 minutes from Downtown San Diego and the SD Zoo.

We believe our cottage is on the best block in Ocean Beach. The street dead-ends at the sand! We have beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and a barbeque grill/charcoal for you to use. There are also four beach cruiser bicycles, all located in the garage. Our goal is to make your getaway very special and memorable.

During the summer months we will have a window air conditioner in the living room. You won't need it too often, but when you do, it pretty much cools the whole cottage.

Ocean Beach has a real community feel, very small townish within the big city. Many independent, eclectic, shops and restaurants, very few corporate chain places. The most laid back beach and surfing area in San Diego! Be sure to stroll down Newport Avenue, as well as the side streets, and don't miss driving down Sunset Cliffs Blvd. to the Nature Park.
